Not being a Google Workspace user, how are you assigning different Inbound Mail definitions in WHD to look at your different Labels in the Mail account, using the "Inbox Folder" definition in the WHD Inbound Mail Accounts Setup screen?
-
Yes similar when I had someone else report this, next day it had finished all Ticket prints so it was not checked further
-
I have seen this when using HTTP or not forcing HTTPS as always within Setup > General > Options > Force HTTPS = Always
-
I have seen this before but not been able to work out why, I suggest you log this with Support to see if they have had any occurrences of such behaviour - I assume you went via 12.7.7 and have applied Hot Fix 2?
-
I suggest you go back to them saying outdated information and ask for more detail from them. If this only works with IE then maybe a non starter as MS don't support IE now anyhow.
-
Reviewing the article it is a little dated, WHD no longer uses Tomcat 7 or supports IE (does anyone now?). I would log a Case with SW Support to see if a superseded article exists for later releases of WHD.
-
Check setting in Setup > Clients > Options > Ticket-Approval Method = E-Mail
-
Hum, looking at the Attribute Mapping Tab I cannot se those exposed as readable from the Orion DB. I think your best bet would be to log the questions with Solarwinds Support in case they have something creative, sounds like a limitation - maybe use a Table View and get WHD to read off that.....as @percyplant suggested
-
Looking at WHD12.7.6 Release Notes is says it fixes Arabic display issues but I think that should cover Spanish was well - anyhow you should be on WHD12.7.8 + HF2 now anyhow.
-
The big question is what command are you using to do the Postgres Database restore and as what Linux user?
-
Jay, You should be able to pull in and Sync your Assets into WHD from SW NPM using the procedure as shown here: https://documentation.solarwinds.com/en/success_center/whd/content/helpdeskconfigurencmnpmsam.htm Regards

Confirmed that this is by design since WHD12.7.8 as it relies more on the Client Admin Roles
-
Glad this worked for you as well. I will find out if this is by design or a bug anyhow. Watch this space!
-
I have been able to access my attachment now from the E-Mail after making sure my Client Admin had a Client Admin Role setup (I did all Request Types) and then on the Client record it was associated with that Client Admin Role.…
-
Thanks for confirming, that is what I did on my test system, tried to open the attachment from the E-Mail as the Client Admin (not linked to any Tech account), in fact it asks for my WHD login details just before the error message is displayed. This does look like a bug but I will confirm 100% later.
-
So you are using a PostgreSQL Database type. You can regulate the number of backups kept within Setup > General > Database > Number of Backups
-
If you use the Option within Setup > General > Options > Show Icons for Referenceable URLs = Yes then a new option is available on the Client UI History screen (a little box with and arrow going north east) which is "Open ticket details in separate window", from this a new Tab is opened which should show you full…

Only using an E-Mail regular expression filter going forward but you will need to put something on every E-Mail signature for the REGEX to check against. I doubt that E-Mail signatures would generate such a big database size, more likely attachments but a check of the DB Table sizes would confirm this.

Sorry, reproduced, was not trying to open in my Client Admin E-Mail, only WHD Client UI, let me ask around here..
-
Another thought, within the Client UI, where they see the attachment from the History Tab, are they clicking on the attachment symbol or selecting the Request and selecting from the right hand pane? Finally, you may (or may not) be aware you can have the Client UI open a new Browser Tab when selecting the Request, and from…
-
Just had another thought, is this Browser type specific, eg Chrome, Firefox etc?
-
Good, I assume the Client Admin was not the original Client who submitted the Request? Are you aware Client Admins can have different permission settings individually via the Key Symbol next to their name in the Client Admin setup section.?
-
Are you running WHD via HTTPS and if so do you have "Force HTTPS" = Always set within Setup > General > Options ?
-
Have a look at webhelpdesk working with keys certs I would never do it via the WHD GUI, always use Portecle or Keystore Explorer (assuming you are on Windows - Linux is a totally different process).
-
I don't remember such functionality being in any version, was it with a right mouse click so via the browser rather than the WHD application?
-
Space is taken up mostly by attachments, are your customers attaching large documents?
-
Have you applied the Hot Fix 2 yet?
-
Yes I agree fully available on Portal now and can only be applied if you are on WHD12.7.8 already
-
Contact Support, that is why you pay your maintenance, they should be able to help. Normally you need a full certificate chain loaded into the Tomcat Keystore via Portecle or Keystore Explorer but they will need to know the hosting OS and WHD release version to help.
