Monitoring is very key, no admin will leave the network to only just automations. A monitoring solution that is not compatible with checking the virtualization technology should be thrown out.

Cloud Technology is it!!!. I hear of some people afraid of loosing their data in the cloud. I believe the cloud business has different forms of contingencies to prevent such disasters.

Very true that tools are as good as users. if the user does not handle the tools, the tools won't operate themselves except with human intervention.
