  • Not an option in .GOV We're running the versions we need to run. So I guess I'll be the guy opening the ticket on this. Mike Carrick Dept of Veterans Affairs
  • Mark, It's V8 and given that I'm entiltled to V9, I think I'll upgrade before commenting again. Its sitting on the same box as our Orion 8.5.1. I hope that's not an issue. Mike
  • By that do I understand you to mean from "add/Remove Programs" in the ControlPanel ? 1. did that work? 2. I see the same symptom after an upgrade to 8.5.1 and service packs. Is there a global fix to this? For me - these symptoms are in IP Address Mapper.
  • Spoke too soon. It WAS the GetNext issue. Appending the instance info passes the self-test, when you specify Get. My bad. Still a little underwhelming, tho ... Not sure if that's cuz our queues are working? or whether stuff is lost in the five minute aggregation. The EE toolkit graphs still look much nicer.
  • Oh cool! I'll check that out. Thx
  • MY APOLOGIES It is there. I was on the wrong tree ...
  • Cleared that hurdle (by pasting MIB.cfg where Orion complained it was not) only to find that the MIB is apparently Unsupported? I don't get it - It's a perfectly VALID OID. The graph shows nothing of interest. It seems to be not honoring my instance request. I'm prepending 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.166.1.18.1.1.4 to the index values…
  • in a similar vein, I'm having some trouble with Cisco MIBS. I have just update the mibs to the current version. The Cisco Enterprise mib does not seem to include the QoS feature of Cisco(9).166 aka: ciscoCBQosMIB How do I get that? Can I grab it from cisco and Import it?
  • If that's so ... Then the READ me associated with MIB.cfg may need some attention. The implication is that Orion can be updated in the same way as Toolset. I'm not sure that was the long answer you spoke of. 1. Using Windows Explorer, navigate to your installation folder and locate the MIBs.cfg file. By default, this is…
  • Lee - I found my way to the OID's with EE toolkit, and yeah it was tricky. The problem now is migrating those nuggets into the Orion Custom Mib poller. I'm running 8.5.1 SP-3, and for some reason the custom mib poller just kinda blows up. You too? How'd you negotiate that? I get the error: Cannot Open MIB Database/ Could…
