it should work the same way the other variables work: ${MyCustomPropertyName}

jlintner, is the guy able to log in to Orion website with his account?
-
Network Atlas is x86 application, but uses .NET Framework functions to download the file. What if you just ignored the verification and set the linked background to the url and then displayed the map on the website? Anyway, the best thing to do now would be contacting our support.
-
this should be fixed in SP4
-
if the user name and password used for NA works in Orion, try to check the time on the local machine. If the time between server and client differs by more than 5 minutes, you cannot log in.
-
Let me PM you and discuss the next steps offline.
-
The numbers you provided seem to be correct for 9.5.1. As stated in , the next version contains some performance improvements that should also influence the synchronization process between client and database.
-
Could you please check your C:\Windows\TEMP directory for files tmp*.tmp? If you delete them, it should work for a while again.
-
jlintner, what is the error message that NA gives him?
-
no, they are cut
-
So now you know what is causing it. Unfortunately, I cannot help with this one. Please consider contacting Cisco support.
-
go to your local settings\application data\temp folder (Users\<you>\AppData\Local\Temp) and find and delete all files named like tmp*.tmp. are you behind proxy?
-
Well, you seem to by right. But if the device itself is not able to perform the traceroute, there has to be something wrong with your network.
-
what if you change the zoom to a higher level? Does it look better? If not, I would suggest opening a support ticket.

You are right with the Visio icon. The User Graphics folder has to be created manually, if it does not exist. It does not exist by default on a clean installation, and it may exist on machines where there was Map Maker (Orion 9.1) previously.
-
It should be possible to resize an object (or a set of objects) using the Size & Position group in the Edit ribbon (the right-most one). Some of objects you may have in a map are not sizable (like LEDs). You can tell whether an object is sizable by the fill color of the marks around a selected objects. If the blue squares…

what tool is in the screenshot? I'd like to do some measurements by myself.
-
From the logs you sent it seems that re-creating the map and setting it as a new map on the web would help (try Save As). If it does not, or it is not an acceptable work-around, please contact support and mention this thread.

This looks like a real example, although I don't really know specifics of your device commands: http://itknowledgeexchange.techtarget.com/network-technologies/how-to-configure-asapix-firewall-to-collect-net-flow-data-from-an-external-router-to-the-netflow-collector-located-in-inside-network/

I just checked that, and it appears like ABE does not influence the results. Could you perhaps post a screenshot of what you see?
-
the commands differ depending on the version of the ip sla application in the Cisco IOS. There are three types of commands: sh ip sla app or sh rtr app or sh ip sla mon app check for "Supported Operation Types" in the command output

Support suggested a work around for you, does this work?

UDT gets the information about interfaces via SNMP from ifTable, column ifType (OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.3). Are you able to check whether the ifType is reported correctly for the trunk ports? If it is not, then I would recommend contacting your vendor, as there is currently no other way for UDT to determine the interface…

so we actually got into the similar situation in our lab: the traceroute command on the device displayed correct results with about 20 hops to google.com, but path operations displayed just a few hops (2 - 3). the guy taking care of the lab found out it was a firewall issue. This is what I got as explanation: Icmp port…

I have verified that Network Atlas works behind a proxy. However, if the proxy requires authentication, NA fails to connect.
-
In the classic SPM, go to menu File - Settings, and you will find "Disable SNMPv2 packets) on the SNMP tab.
-
Unfortunately not. This product is supported only as part of Engineer's Toolset.

That could be it. We did not consider Access Based Enumeration when Permissions Analyzer was in development.
