What I don't understand is the top one works, the second one doesn't and the only thing different is the escalation level, they are in the same alert. Some text has changed, none of the formatting has.

Yes, the passwords are encrypted. But it will be reversible however Solarwinds won't tell you how or share the encryption keys.

We backup both sets of configs four times a day, we then get alerts via email if the backup fails or if the config has changed. Monitoring the uptime is an interesting one, I like that.

Edit, it looks like it was brought up to date, however it's not updating with the new total.

I think that was posted in response to a different issue, but hopefully it will be resolved also.

It seems to be working great for me now leaderboard vs total at the top right, however I've noticed another discrepancy when you mouse over a name on the leaderboard.

We've had good experience with Juniper on the firewall side. But if the budget is there (sounds like it isn't ) Palo Alto is a sound choice.

I've always gone with one device one job, router, switch, firewall, filter. Most devices will be great at one and OK at the other. Always loved my ASA's too. Try to find another filter?
