Can you post more details on what you are polling, what you expect to see and what you are seeing. A screen shot of the graph and such would help a lot.

What is the plan for report scheduler? Will the "webification" of reports chane that feature.

Not speaking as a statistician but from experience, I would go for the 40 days of more accurate information. It better models the behavour you are forecasting. You could do the longer time frame that includes non-business hours then factor out the difference in business hour usage to non-business hour usage. This factor…

Datetime is a count from a set reference time, usually Jan 1, 1900. It is a string where the forst 4 bytes count the days since the reference date and the last four bytes count millliseconds since midnight, today. The raw number will mean nothing but SQL will translate these according to the SQL correlation and language…

Hi Warbird, Check your IOS levels according to http://support.solarwinds.com/kbase/ProblemDetail.cfm?ID=1329. When you move to a paid license all you need to do is enter the new license info.

What are your data retention settings?
-
Could be. Make sure monitoring "unmonitored traffic" in is enabled in NetFlow settings.

We have no firm dates now for these devices but I am very interested in knowing what you would like to be able to see/manage. Andy

On the interface detail view, the button that says "Both" has options for ingress and egress.
-
Are you seeing a specific issue with the uninstall?
-
We are not actively working these features.
-
can you post a screenshot of the alert trigger?
-
A better solution would probably to use the Additional Web Server on a VM. You're playing with fire putting it on the SQL box.
-
Let me know if this tech ref helps you get what you need. Also there are a lot of availability reports on Content Exchange.

Hi Donald and Brian, Thanks for the feedback - that's how we know where we need to improve. I don't know if you guys have a lab environment or not but it does help in finding issues before the change goes into production. We don't expect our customers to QA for us and we do a lot of testing. A lab can be helpful to find…

Here are all the 7K MIBs and OIDs. I think what you are looking for is in the FRU MIB listed here ftp://ftp-sj.cisco.com/pub/mibs/supportlists/nexus7000/Nexus7000MIBSupportList.html

You could accomplish this by upgrading to NPM 10.1.2 and APM 4.01 and creating a group for that application. You would create the group and use a dynamic group query using the server names so that when you moved the app to the other server the group is still monotored continusouly. You would need to name the servers using…

The best way to apply alerts to a certain group of devices is to create a custom property and assign the devices that property. From there you add the property to a new alert for those devices. See this post for an example.

Hi Geoff, Try this - * Add the "Volumes with High Percent Usage" resource to the Network Summary Home view. * Go to the Network Summary Home view * Click "Edit" on the Volumes with..." resource * In Filter Nodes (SQL) add "VolumePercentUsed>95" * Submit I tested it on my Orion 9.5 VM and it worked. It looks like you are trying to launch the Bandwidth Gauge from the Node Details. Bandwidth Gauges are launched by right clicking on the interface name on the Interface Details view, not the Node view.
-
Hi Dave, I am addressing this issue so that you won't have to have all interfaces monitored in Orion for these user switches to see Flows from the uplink. We're just looking at what it takes to fix it now so no date to share. Andy

Hi bdurrant, NTA works as all NetFlow collectors, passive listners only. They accept flows whenever the exporter device (router, switch) sends it. We accept flows constantly and timestamp them to the nearest minute in NTA. You may be able to adjust export intervals on the exporter. The intervals you are seeing on NTA views…

Hmm. I cannot find a way to alter those. What I would do is remove the gauges from the view and move the Response Time and Packet Loss bar graph from the right column to the top of the left one. The gauges have limited value as they only indicate the last poll results.

Hi puenther, We have IPFIX support targeted for a future release. Unfortunately, that is as specific as I can be at this point. Andy

Can you post a screen shot?

Probably the best way would be to write a custom SQL alert that looks for something that we should always have, like SysObjectID and alert if it ever returns null.
-
Nope http://tools.cisco.com/ITDIT/CFN/jsp/index.jsp

Can you send a screen shot?
