When you say "execute the queries from there", do you mean from the SW machine? If so, that still runs into the firewall issue, and not wanting to set the SQL server to respond outside of localhost.

 It didn't solve the problem. I also cleared my local cache, and it didn't solve anything. I logged back into the consolve via KVM to check video settings, and it's set to 32 bit color. But when I logged out, my maps were back to normal. That's a strange bug.

It would be nice to be able to suppress alerting for a node/interface more easily. For instance, a context menu item of "Suppress alerting for this node/interface". Something on the order of unmanaging a node, but for alerting only.
