Voted. Can't believe this hasn't been implemented. The lack of any sort of native search in Orion (the global search preview showed promise) and the poor integration of some of the products are real sticking points for me.

Wow, Radioteacher This is exactly how I feel. Upper management has been wowed with all the benefits of NPM and our other Orion components but, everytime I mention using SAM to replace SCOM the price wins out. By price I mean SCOM is free (albeit terrible) and SAM isn't.

Chris, I was requesting this same "feature" as well until I attended your great NetPath presentation at the Chicago SWUG in 2017. Perhaps creating a detailed breakdown of why using ICMP wouldn't be accurate (or reposting one that already exists that I'm not aware of here) would assuage the calls for ICMP support?
