If this can't be done this is going to cause us all sorts of problems as we're looking at moving our 6509 Chassis over to VSS later this year, which will basically give us the same result as a 3750 stack.

One of the servers in question is the NPM server so hopefully should have access whatever, but I've also checked some of the other servers that fail and community strings etc are configured correctly with the correct authroisation for the NPM server.

Hi Yann The issues with the Fortigate's is that there is a global config which is downloaded through NCM fine but each VDOM has a separate config. I've tried what you've suggested but it still complains that closing down will stop all polling and it still doesn't give me the option of which polling engine to open. When I open NPM again it goes throught the same sequence build the network model etc. Jon
