The GA version breaks Azure polling for Azure Gov subscriptions. Confirmed bug but no information on a fix.

I followed the structure of the question (the word 'making' and answered with a verb. ___ing. Looks like they wanted the noun ___ion. Oh well, I'm not a gamer so not interested in the Switch.

Friday curiosity - how many people typically complete these monthly missions?

Hi - does the cloud costs feature include snapshot and backups costs? Or at least visibility that we may have a bunch of forgotten snap shots sitting out there? Kevin

Hmmm, if only there were a way to monitor web pages

Is it possible to download the HA installer from Solarwinds rather than the original Orion server? The reason is based on Supernova/Sunburst. Although I have applied the latest version in our environment, we want to move to a clean install OS. We would rather not move any files from the potentially compromised server. (we…

The WWWO page hasn't been updated in a year. 2023.1

I'm right there with you on #4. I have an answer that fits, but I don't think it is right since it references (my possible answer) a non SW product.

And the page that comes up has a different answer than what apparently is correct. I answered per that page, and it scored me as incorrect.

Is there any chance one of the 2025.1 Feature demos is available as a recording? I looked and didn't find it immediately and wasn't able to attend live.

We are migrating to OCI. Starting with our DR center.

Yep, me too. 2 different browsers.

I haven't seen that problem with stopping the virtual sever. I monitor both the service and port 25, and I haven't seen missed alerts. There are also several perfmon counters you could monitor. Look in the Content Exchange here, there are some sample SAM templates.

I have the same question but for the Self Hosted version.

yes, Connectwise has an API. We use it to integrate with our time collection system. Just be warned, the frequently make changes without announcement and break things.

Awesome. I reported this last summer. At the time the answer was that this was by design so that organization security could review the logs if needed. To which I replied that was a lame excuse.

Assuming you have the devices in NPM, monitor the status of the virtual interface. You could also just do a ping monitor to the IP address on the other side.

HerrDoktor - I have this same issue as the OP. Mine are WMI not agents, but otherwise the same. In my case the entities in the group are indeed Nodes, but the application template is not getting assigned to all members. Any thoughts? Now I guess I need to go audit all application monitors assigned via groups to see if…

I don't have the answer immediately. I would start here SolarWinds Information Service v3.0 Schema Documentation Index , pick your version and look at the schemas. There is a filter at the top and I would start with 'alert'.

As Seashore says, you can install the WPM player just about anywhere you want. Just be aware of 2 things: 1) Connectivity requirements back to the main console. https://documentation.solarwinds.com/en/success_center/wpm/content/orionseumaginstallingplayer.htm 2) Licensing. WPM is licenses per recording playback location.…

Assuming you have VMAN (either as part of Observability Advanced or standalone) add your host. Add a vCenter, Hyper-V host, standalone ESX host, or Nutanix cluster for monitoring in VMAN

If you want to just check that the page is served properly, you can use the HTTPS component monitor and add a keyword check. If you want to actually complete a login process, you will need to use Web Performance Monitor (WPM) and not SAM.

I'm not sure why you say the linked articles don't answer the concerns? I use that approach. Concern 2: No, just 1 "node down alert" that notifies to recipients in the custom property. In my case, I use PagerDuty instead of email, but the concept is the same. Concern 3: Not separate alerts. The ACTION in the alert is based…
