Thank you @"[Deleted User]" great read. For me I took a new role with in the organization in January, so a lot for me changed. I was already working from home when things went weird. For me I really didn't know what all went in to Managing a program to the extent i am now. I had worked previously in small arms of the…

Pets are a hot topic, because they seem to be in a majority of homes. I have only rescue animals. Two dogs, three cats, and they allow me in their office to work each day. They are fond the the Meraki Wireless AP. It puts out heat which they always lay near.

I answered correctly and my points were not awarded. Is that part of the question not working?

Take your time, i have been trying to catch you in points for a long time and i am with in 500 or so, but like normal you continue to crush the competition and i am still sitting at 26th place. And although this sounds like a bad Nascar race, really its only so i can take a screen shot for historical sake of seeing a 25 by…

In our case, we have the personnel to support it, and they drive the VAR. However being able to hire one person for a task when i can pay the VAR and have a larger pool for other knowledge base activities, it became a function of the company not giving me enough resources to compete and the VAR having the right price to…

really nice post. I think anyone worth a hill of beans needs to be humble. have faith in your abilities is a key to success but the admit to your mistakes is HUGE. you can not be afraid to fail in this business, its more so a matter of how big you fail and if you are IT enough to overcome it.

I was never able to use N-Central. I did use the others. Pulseway is built on the Kesaya platform. It has a lot in there that is good for a larger IT shop or MSP. NinjaONE was good for me in a SMB. I used the SW Web Help Desk at one time in my life. It served me well. I am simply happy not to have to use Cherwell or…

Hey, yumdarling, do we need to do both parts of the shortcut to get 1000 points? or is it like the prize where either one will score some points?

Don't over think it. What is the primary KPI we all look for on the network, servers, cloud connections? Its measurable...

Well it's like this. Self, take the opportunity to spend more time learning software development. be better at coding. Take the Engineering / computer science double major vs teh math minor with engineering. Do not waste time on marriage #2. Really, don't. Adopt the cloud, and virtualization sooner. Get comfortable with…

Same, I am sure it will get sorted. They always seem to, or they can award us all 3K points for no reason. either way, I'm good.

Yes 100%

We have it set to auto update; however, the issue was when moving from .13 to .17 of the agents we lost all connections to the clients and could not get a download to correct it. If everything works it's not an issue, it's when it doesn't when it becomes the spotlight problem.
-
I cannot agree more. We are dealing with an issue right now. We get one reply a day, its always a different person, they say we will have to investigate it and never find a solution. They even tried to close the case on us.

After doing some incredible troubleshooting and spending way too much time Rob might have found a workaround. SW Support for DRE has given him the run around over and over on this one. Also, we found the software engineers are lazy and are not cleaning up their registry keys upon updates and installations. It makes it…

You bring a tear to my eye. However, I cannot clear it. The Machine is pretransition, so it appears stuck. Doesn't exist anymore. Also, there is no deleting, just close status. But by clicking on it enough the status went away. WHEW.... THANK YOU.

Here is the latest..

Yeah that initial image was pre update of the console, we updated last week i think to the latest and it still there.
-
See the console message, where it appears there is a message, yet there is none. That ghost update.

IN the past, I used NPM and NCM to monitor the Firewall / SDWAN / Router / (edge device) ports where the multiple internet links were, so I knew I had connection etc. Our SDWAN device managed the inputs from the Internet, and we could route data depending on what it was with QoS or a priority to ensure we had the correct…

Since this is a SaaS Based solution I am going to say no, internet is required to connect. You could use Dameware Remote Support for on Network connections.

We would need to push it from Intune unless it will self install. Very interested in knowing the whereabouts of the updated file. I cna not get it from my customer portal either.

I second the Velcro Patches. And bring back the Ninja Fat Heads....

I hear that. I am sure it's not the case for you or others, but I am older now. To young to know, to old to care.
