I'm sorry, but we don't provide release dates until the product is GA.

Maybe we can get this looked at also? Now that I think about it maybe this is by design. All of these ports are Admin down and they should all be unplugged, but maybe the flaw prevented them from being "unplugged". I think the Admin down should trump the unplugged. Thoughts?

Is it listed in the add/remove programs under the control panel still?
-
This could fit into the post I just made with the alert acknowledge.

Cassidy, Thanks for the response. I wasn't sure what was possible to monitor with Orion. Sounds like you have added some pretty good stuff. Would you care to share some of those? Also are you monitoring just you CAM servers or the CAS boxes also? Thanks.
-
Are you referring to the server that Cirrus resides on? We have Cirrus running on a brand new Dell 2950, pretty much over kill for the hardware requirements Cirrus requested. OS is W2K3.

To open a support ticket. forms.netsuite.com/.../externalcasepage.nl Start-->Programs-->SolarWinds Orion-->Documentation and Support-->Orion Diagnostics. Then upload at solarwinds.leapfile.com email address is support@solarwinds.net

We are talking about the Kiwi Syslog 9.6 RC. This thread was originally about the 9.5 release, but a comment was posted to it.

How is the different from the start all and stop all button in the service manager? Also, I'm pretty sure I can report my SQL server without Orion sending alerts.

We love to hire our customers. We have a few jobs open if anyone is looking to join the PM team

I would recommend using version 3 with UDT. Did you specify the vlan context? For individual VLANs snmp-server group (groupname) v3 priv context vlan-(vlanid) For all VLANs (not always supported, dependent on IOS version) snmp-server group v3group v3 auth context vlan- match prefix Jeff

Great work on this one! If you wanted to select all of the object across all of the pages this is possible. Good option! It would also be nice to select a few from different pages like the others are talking about.

We have around 800 nodes but 25k+ interfaces. Are most of your nodes computers that you are monitoring? Just to give you an idea, we have 3 Orion servers and two DB to keep up with this and we are outgrowing that.
-
Are we talking about the same "unplugged"? I'm talking about the new "unplugged" interface feature in Orion.
-
I'll have the Engineering team check this out. Jeff

We are getting ready to move over 800 access points to LWAPP, this will take the wireless module off the list of things to buy :(
-
Mine was slow before sp2, but seems a little faster since the upgrade.
-
Can anyone at SW verify this feature to be working? If so I will need to open a case to figure out why it isn't on my end. Thanks.
-
Anyone make any progress on this?
-
Are you using the Performance Counter witin APM? This is what I'm monitoring; I've always heard that you want it under 2.0. Brandon is this correct?
-
Do you have time for a Webex later this afternoon?
-
Once the information is sent to Cisco it takes them several hours, usually 24 to process all of the data. 14 hours is actually less than most I've seen, but it's based on how busy their services are.
-
Not sure if it will fix your problem, but SP3 was released yesterday.

Log Viewer can take advantage of licensed additional polling engines being used NPM or NAM.

I think I've already made mention of a MAC search feature, but this is really what we would like to see. I really don't think this would be hard for Orion to do. MacTrack - Overview Submitted by thewitness on Fri, 2006-08-04 21:11. MacTrack is an easy to use tool that allows you to track your organizations MAC Addresses to…

By default the product ships with SQLExpress 2005. So you will need to use the first link to enable CLR. If you get in touch with your sales rep they can get a engineer to help you with your install.

This sounds really bizarre. Everyone on our team has the agent on their machines and we aren't seeing this. We are using a different version of the agent.
-
You can still do that with the new one. You just need to hit the enable editing button.

I will be testing this later this afternoon. BB, not sure about that one, seems a little more involved. They need an EOC or NCM ;)
