Absolutely. Confirmed - that EOC 2.2 will work in conjunction with any Orion Modules running Core 2016.1 or later.
-
Technically this does actually impact Network Atlas as well. If you were to create a connection using the second option "Across Orion" - then yes, that same connection will be visible in Network Atlas.
-
Thanks grodech! - can you provide some examples of what you set up and how it looks in your environment? It would also be a good idea to submit that Feature Request - ipMonitor Feature Requests

Thank you very much for sharing this valuable feedback @"artemis.hyginus"

You are correct that a view limitation would apply to all the tabs on the left hand side. You need to leverage Custom Properties. I wrote a response to another users post this week that was fairly similar - see if this helps: Bandwidth Usage Dashboard per Site

@"rocco_2016" - do you have a support case number on this you can share? I want to be sure this is tracked with engineering as well.
-
@"stuartd" Thank you sir! Very much appreciated!

@"Malakai" - What version of Orion Maps are you using? The latest 2020.2 Release allows you to place a background image that is not selectable and will not move so some of the items you are mentioning have already been planned for and adjusted. I am not sure I am following the need for support to help size elements... do…

It is not possible today to be able to adjust the size and shape of individual widgets in the current dashboarding system. You are able to adjust column width today, the height of widgets are dynamic based on included content. Certain widgets will allow for adjustable height such as the World Map and Orion Map widgets.…

I just worked with a customer on setting up UnDP for Alert Status from Alpha devices - it appears we can pull table data from these to display the type of alarm and whether it was triggered or not. It appears to be simply a 0 or 1 for the alert status. These options would have to be polled utilizing a Get Table.

The ability to manually link devices is a well understood feature request denstjames. There are endless reasons for why a user would want to have some sort of manual control, and we need to provide that flexibility. Work on addressing this need is currently underway and we will certainly want to elicit feedback once we…

You should be able to log into the instance in which the polling engine is currently assigned. Ensure you move any entities that are monitored via the polling engine you wish to re-assign, and then go into All Settings > Settings > under details > License Manager > find the Additional Polling engine > select > and…

The latest Orion Map post including links to all previous posts is available here: Orion Platform 2019.4 - Orion Maps is Now Available If you are an existing customer and interested in getting a sneak peek as to what is coming next, check out the NPM and SAM Beta Forums for the Orion Maps Beta Post.

We are working to get older documentation migrated to a public facing location. Were you looking for information posted from the above link?

Saw it Stuart. It was perfect feedback and very much appreciated!

You will still likely need to check the Network Atlas maps to verify if the connections exist. What would get the web based Orion Maps capable of doing what you need? What is it missing?
-
Callahan - thanks for sharing feedback! * Custom Labels/Text box fields - JB - We agree this is something that is critical - and something we are certainly working on.* We have a map for every remote site that we operate. On each map, we like to toss in other addition labels that are useful when it comes to supporting that…

That is correct Adam - when there are multiple connections between two nodes, we consolidate those into a single line. What will be bubbled up to the top will be the connection with the worst status, based on hitting a threshold. There could be multiple types of connections between two entities, and some of our larger…

Great information here. Really appreciate the feedback! Clearly manipulating the layout of the connections is important and understood. This is something we are working on. Also using custom icons, adding text boxes, shapes, etc... Are you manually labeling each of the interfaces to the short name? Are each of these…

rocco_2016 Thanks for your input! Quick question; Since custom labeling is important to you, can you elaborate on what ideal behaviors would be incorporated that would knock this out of the park? What do you need to be able to do? Is this adding more metadata under neath the entity for example? What type of metadata are…

Thanks kingslider great feedback! Now your image is an interesting one as this is clearly a wireless heat-map. That functionality is not on the current road map for Orion Maps. Curious how critical this is to you and the community and whether the wireless heat-maps are heavily leveraged across the board. This is something…

I did chuckle a little bit when I saw this superfly99 - we are definitely working on getting better more updated examples of maps into the online demo!

Thank you Jiri - I have responded to some of your questions - much of these might be great feature requests to generate and get community feedback as well. In map display mode - edit/work abilities - map pan using SPACE + Mouse drag - could you skip SPACE? Set up controls similar to google maps or how is in an…

Awesome feedback! I would love for you to elaborate on connecting containers. You could potentially create a group or a dependency which could represent "member of connections" or a reliance connection. Are these containers static or do they tend to come and go?
-
designerfx appreciate the feedback - this was absolutely thought of and debated heavily during the design process. This was also never brought up as an issue or concern during any user testing, Beta, RC, or the 2019.2 release. That being said, it is certainly an option that could always be changed, but what about when you…

What we are looking for is clarity around what is necessary to improve your experience with the tool. If you are still using Network Atlas over the web based Orion Maps, why? You indicated that you use the tool to show the network but it gets too busy, what would improve that? It is hard to tell from that screenshot but it…

cgross - Would love additional details here. What do you feel is half finished? Are you saying compared to the auto-built maps from the details pages?

sotherls So this is basically a status dashboard of each of these entities correct?
