Correct - An all or nothing option at the moment. You cannot be selective which is what I am interpreting you are hoping for.

@"Solaiy" wrote:@"jblankjblank" Hello Jblank, Thanks much for your reply. It clears the differentiation in a pretty good manner. As suggested, a polling engine can accommodate 12K elements & 10K components in general, our environment is slightly different here. Mentioned the polling numbers below. Can you please let me…

@"hallstev5" You are right - I assumed this was being done from centralized upgrades in the web UI. Are you running the offline installer in this case?
-
This is not an immediate item to tackle for the Orion Maps project at this point in time. I think this thread is great information to share with the NPM PM jason.carrier and we may be able to do some collaboration in the future based on their set of priorities. rajasekar you provided a great list of features that are…

Techincally @"egas" you should likely have cluster info without the VMAN module. Your current version may be a limiting factor and I would recommend upgrading, but you should be able to launch perfstack > add an entity > change nodes to virtual cluster and perform a similar task that i did in the example.

@"sreenathmp" - unfortunately there is not a great option for that for now. If you have multiple connections between an image, they will be visible once you interact with the map in View Mode via the Inspector Panel on the right. The link in the worst state will always bubble up to the top so you will be able to see the…

@"Almog" what you had in the 2019.4 version was a slider for any image added to the canvas, but 2020.2 version as @"shuth" mentioned provides the option to scale all entities and much more. https://thwack.solarwinds.com/t5/The-Orion-Platform-Documents/Orion-Platform-2020-2-An-Orion-Map-to-Success/ta-p/587146

@"s-bolyard" Right - makes sense. That is not possible in legacy dashboards because we are currently restricted to the columns. Obviously this is something we are working on to allow for exactly what you are hoping to accomplish. @"tony.johnson" discusses some of those updates here. We need to incorporate the Maps Widget…
-
@"robbsmithwi" - Make sure you check out the latest post - https://thwack.solarwinds.com/t5/The-Orion-Platform-Documents/Orion-Platform-2019-4-Orion-Maps-is-Now-Available/ta-p/530736 that walks through the latest set of features. However more updates are on the way shortly so stay tuned. The Orion Maps Editor also includes…

@"artemis.hyginus" do you have a support case number you can share please?
-
Great feedback - and appreciate your use cases as well. Getting more data federated and more management and monitoring of the remote Orion Installations are certainly critical items we hope to accomplish.
-
To add to aLTeReGo's comments there is a tool that can be beneficial here javip2086. Accessed from the server is the Account Limitation Builder - Using this tool will make it possible for you to set limitations based on these Custom Properties which can come in quite handy. They will be added to the bottom of the…
-
@"martin.lkab" Unfortunately this is not currently possible. Can you share an example of what you are doing for reference?
-
Unfortunately, the Enterprise Operations Console is not able to connect and pull data through an Additional Web Server. EOC would need to be able to communicate directly to the primary polling engine of each instance via port 17777 and 443. As you mentioned above, EOC would provide an extended layer of visibility for both…
-
The easiest solution would be to create two separate dashboards and leverage Custom Properties in order to specify the set of entities you want to see in each.
-
Thanks for the added detail @"k1gaudineer" . There is a lot to unpack here. First, I am very sorry this is generating any sort of frustration as we work very hard to try and build tools that address a wide variety of customer needs and make their lives easier. As you indicated in your reply - the Orion Maps project and…
-
@"Will_i_am_03" - Thanks for the added feedback. This is a well understood request, and something we hope to achieve in a future release. Feature Requests are a way in which we can gauge community interest on a particular topic. For…

@"ianleggett" Great. Share your map when you got it completed! We would love to see how it turns out.
-
It is not possible to selectively disable certain topology connections at this time. It is all or nothing. The ability to hide specific connections would be a feature request.
-
74razor I would highly recommend reviewing the NPM Beta Forum similar to what Marc alluded to.
-
@"iasuncio" - Hopefully you have seen the most recent version of Orion Maps - An Orion Map to Success!
-
@"brentbo" if running 2019.4, you should have the ability to manually connect now. Select the two objects and you will see a button appear in the tool bar "connect objects". Then specify the interface on either side.

This has not gone away! Apologies for the confusion but the Custom Tile widget has has now been properly renamed to the Status Summary Widget. This should clearly indicate the purpose of the widget and remove any confusion about why it was called Custom Tile from the days of EOC 2.0. We also made some small improvements.…

That tool is an old out-dated tool for Network Atlas only, not to convert anything to Orion Maps. The latest version of EOC also includes a fully functional Orion Maps where you can build maps from EOC or choose to show off maps from your instances through an Orion Maps widget. These are all based on Orion Maps though and…
-
As mentioned throughout those posts, there were certainly areas in which we plan to do better to ensure that users are not taken down a wrong path when attempting to create or customize views. There are resources that will not function in the same manner they did in versions of EOC prior to 2.0. These resources will likely…
-
Working on getting a different format for you. I'll see what I can do.
-
I agree with the options that have been proposed by other members. In the new Orion Maps, we can show you the server communication as long as those systems are running the agent. If those servers are physical, and being monitored via SNMP you could likely see topology data, otherwise that information is not being captured.…
-
Perfect - so are you able to pull up the dashboard? Does it look like this?

In Network Atlas, you could use a tool tip variable to show the admin status. Interface variables for Network Atlas tooltips So if you create a link and add a label, you could change the label to reflect ${AdminStatus}. This will be an integer value however and not the enumerated version. Some customers drag the interface…
