What about the standard linux oid's? Are you sure you snmp strings are setup correctly?
-
Hi, I found a load of them here but to be honest, aix is a unix based operating system meaning most linux oids will work. NetDiscover MIB/OID - IBM-AIX-MIB.mib
-
Yes, it can, just set the time period under edit graphs
-
Yes netflow will show you this. Just make sure netflow is configured on all your devices to point to solarwinds and you will be able to track traffic, ingress and egress by interface.
-
Also manager computers, just select workstations from the dropdown.
-
You can also select your patch manager groups to see how many nodes are in that group. Tells you at the top.
-
Here you go.
-
I did the other way round and had no issues. Domain admin credential is always advised but failing that add to local adminstrators the credential you are using.
-
Have you tried sending it to the direct inbound email address configured on it via the send email option in the alert?
-
The directory services connector no longer works independently and i could not login at all via any method. Had to redeploy the appliance again.
-
It was not only a problem with my current client but within my organisation as well. This is going to be a serious issue for users. It does not seem to be searching the whole of ad for the security group at all. Also have an issue where i cant login at all afterwords. Why disable local accounts?
-
I have tested this and i am a solarwinds engineer. The documentation is not granular enough. How i worked this out was by moving the security group into each ou until it worked. Mine only worked in the above screenshot. It does not matter if it is local or global as long as it is found. I got the same errors until i found…

It needs to be in the universal ou, just did it myself. This was not in the documentation.
-
Did you enable netflow traffic to solarwinds on them?
-
Try this
-
Yes. IBM SNMP Overview - United States

You are not looking for script but oid's. I would start here MIBs for Smart switches | Answer | NETGEAR Support

Ok, is the server in anothe country or state? Download the network atlas from the map resourse and attempt a repair. Then run the configuration wizard again as this repairs the maps. I did encounter my issues when the server was stateside and i was in ireland and this was caused by the wan not have enough juice to operate…
-
Hi, It does not do that ordinarily unless you select the labels.I have noticed stuff like this happening when there is latency issues on to the orion core, are you using on the server or a client? Try another client.
-
Your best solution is to setup a undp for chassis status and do a custom node poller alert for changed status. Save you the head melt.
-
Ah, then i would turn off live mode in netpath and see does the same behavior happen.
-
The first thing i would do is select a device and check for crc errors on the device. That will tell you immediately if the data is valid on npm. I would also use the netpath tool to trace the route to determine if the packet loss is occurring on the device or the route to the device.
-
As per documentation, you need to have both. Netflow v9 gives you the protocol usage etc... NBAR2 gives you greater detail such if the traffic is udp traffic from you tube. The message is probably to do with netflow being configured on the virtual interface as well as the physical interface. I would double check the device…
-
Oh i know, but is it a firwall, router, wan swich?
-
ah, what device is the latency showing on?
-
Yes, it is very good alright, i love the ability to see the hops within the isp. Try from another probe. It is very good for diagnosing drops on the atm path and verifying vlan configuration as well.
-
This can be down to so many things but i can tell you it is not down to netpath as i have tested this numerous times. The most common things that cause issues like this would be a misconfigured load balancer, proxy server or even an incorrect vlan configuration. I would setup a new probe in a different location to the…
-
Unfortunately i was not aware you checked the firewall, if i were you i would post a screenshot of the path. They are the only two things that affect netpath. Unless solarwinds have changed the deployment of netpath which runs as a server on the remote host and not an agent, i can say i have never seen the agents register…
-
It does not use an agent. The reason why your google is failing to to complete the connection from your server is either the unicast traffic is being blocked on your firewall or your proxy server is blocking it.
