Forget the trap viewer, awful thing. Create an sql orion alert and bamg this in replacing database in variable below. Insert the trap your looking for in between the %%. SELECT TOP (1000) [TrapID] ,[EngineID] ,[DateTime] ,[IPAddress] ,[Community_ANSI] ,[Community_Unicode] ,[Community] ,[Tag_ANSI] ,[Tag_Unicode] ,[tag]…

UAC is blocking a service that is trying to access using invalid credentials. Scope the pc.
-
Oh yes it does!
-
OK, the only thing left is the credentials that you have used to access those databases, sounds like the permissions dont have access to all the databases, can you confirm what credentials you are using and they have full access under exchange ad?
-
I know its exchange but the backend is an sql database?
-
Ok, does it have sql server on it at all?
-
Go into the server node itself and list resources from the management box. Ensure all your volumes are selected to be monitored and then redo the sam scan on that node.
-
Cool, best of luck, you can always give me a shout if you have any further queries.
-
It looks like to me that you have something scanning. If you look at your first screenshot, the first byte is shown, then a pause, then the content download, then a dns lookup. Normally what causes these are , proxy server analysing the content, antivirus software or the load balancers on the sites themselves depending on…

If I understand you correctly you open universal device poller, select add new undp from top left and then input your oid in the screen that appear, select next, select your nodes, hit test. Once all ok, hit next and select node details - summary screen and finish. Wait 15 minutes and data should appear on your node…
-
No I dont unfortunately but using the custom node poller charts will represent the data for you.
-
You would need a custom poller for that statistic and o report fro that. Not natively supported in solarwinds.
-
You actually make this sound really complicated but to be honest from my perspective its easy. Give your app server a new physical ip address which is obviously static. Run the configuration wizard. Then configure the HA VIP with the old physical ip address of the server. Just keep all on the same subnet. That way the…
-
Hi by default the polling method is icmp. Get the device back online on solarwinds and then list resources. Change the polling method from icmp to snmp.
-
Not supported im afraid.
-
Have you configured your backup directory?
-
Without knowing the function of the server i would suggest starting with the windows 2003-2012 service counters template which will monitor the server functionality.
-
A big mess by solarwinds.
-
mtu 1500, defaults for the servers the service is installed on.
-
I use the products. No study materials required.
-
cool, thanks for the info.
-
Reinstall IPAM. Historical information is in the database and wont be deleted. Have you tried another browser?
-
Yes i have seen these issues before on this version of NPM. Its to do with the md5 certs and tls 2.0 incompatability. Log a call with solarwinds to get the solarwinds md5 repair toolkit. I have not been able to find a resource online to download it from. Endless issues with this im afraid but have been ressolved since…
-
I would suggest trying a different browser first.
-
I have done a bit of testing on this and it seems to be an issue with how the f5's linux environment hande the commands. With 11.5.3, it works perfectly, with 11.5.4 and 11.6, it seems to run a cat $(ConfigType). It seems to be interpreting the commands differently on the f5's.
-
No bother
-
I would check to see the condition of the database. Has it been indexed recently and is on a remote server.
-
not that im aware.
-
Well what you can do is select all interfaces to be monitored and edit the interfaces chart, you will find advanced options where you can apply filters such as shutdown. No swql required.
-
This feature only comes with universal device tracker which is another licensed module from solarwinds.
