Great idea. We can filter out DB instances on the home page trend graph when we need to hide a specific instance that is skewing the display. It would be great on the SQL Trend graphs to be able to filter by database or by user as well.

Take it a step further - store the default metrics in a database table in the repository, interface via the Administration tab to view/update/reset to factory defaults.

It seems that our wish has been granted! I just had an email from SW with a list of free tools, including a free "SolarWinds Database Monitor" http://www.solarwinds.com/database-monitor.aspx It appears to be the old Ignite 8.3 free version - may have been tweaked, but I haven't delved into it yet.

It's rather difficult to do the poll on Q5 when it is still not open at 1.15pm local time. Timezones!
