This was an awesome mission. I have a ton of ideas but not enough time in the day to try them out. With a small team, I need to get more automated.

Is #4 broke?
-
Yay! finally something happening in my town!
-
Looks like it was fixed. I was able to see the question and submit a few moments ago.
-
tbh, I had to look this term up. Actually - makes sense with a large organization that might be distributed across multiple geographic areas or experience levels. Couple that with SAM and Network monitoring - more rounded trouble shooting.
-
My biggest challenge is trying to convince the business to invest more resources so we can monitor all our DB environment and get ahead of customer facing issues.
-
*fingers crossed* some pretty cool prizes - looking forward to the challenges!
-
@"Kaellanon" - Right! I find myself in a better mindset if I 'get ready for work' each day. I find that keeping in a routine helps keep me on track in this work from home/always on world.
-
People are too locked in their siloed ways even if we had a tool.

Dynamically generated traffic maps & Expanded load balancer environment monitoring

If you use SWQL, you already know todays answer .....
-
Agreed! Normally I don't complain because it's not that big a deal to me but today's response really seemed at odds with the question. Somethings not right.
-
*fingers crossed* ooh books - love that new book smell!

I know, right? I was able to deduce what the right value was, but wasn't going to kill me to be wrong. It's for learning, product visibility and a way to interact with the community. We've got real-world problems to attend to...

I feel like I've learned more and installed more conferencing software applications than actual technology applications this year. Every vendor has their preferred and even internally, depending on who you work with could use skype or teams. Each has their quirks and you have to be present in order to make sure you're in…
-
Woo - on a streak! All these apps look great - anyone using them? One app looks like an amped-up WPM.
-
Good to know. Even though it's been almost a year since the big security event, it's been tough convincing our user community to make use of our Orion platform.
-
This is one of those puzzles where you think about it too hard. Had to leave a couple for a day and then 'bam' the answers hit me. Good start to the day!

Kind of funny, my kids say my wife went 'covid-crazy'. She has had a long standing "I will never ____" list which included having a pet (dog, cat, the like...). This was supported in part to my allergies. She out of the blue suggested adopting a dog over the summer, which has turned out so much better than we ever…

I already see others have the same challenges. It's like with cyber security. It's not on their radar till it's an issue....by then it's too late.
-
I know - right? KMSigma, APIs and Probably some PowerShell - This is going to be a good one!
-
@"KMSigma.SWI"That worked perfectly with the link up to the ampersand. I was able to validate today. I kind of figured it was that straightforward. Almost felt too easy. Thanks for everyone's help!

Thanks! Good to know. My agents are the same version so that reduces my anxiety about this HF a little. I put in a support ticket earlier for good measure.
-
Do you run agents with your platform? Did you have to reinstall the agent if so? that's been the biggest pain for my deployment is getting the agents updated as well.
-
I'm going to follow up with a ticket to support. I read through all the release notes again and didn't see anything on updating the agents. I'm looking through my 'manage agents' page and it's all over the place with unable to find or needs update. It's causing some havoc with my dev groups.

Right. I could have been more specific in my response... I meant that the alert notification for the regularly scheduled reboots on those servers were not emailed out. I did the update Sunday evening and the servers were already scheduled to reboot on Monday morning. the notification didn't get received even though it…

@"aLTeReGo" thanks for the info. I need to do more research on it. I'm hoping it's isolated, but I didn't see this in other 2020.2.6 posts so I wasn't sure if I hit on something new. So far, it's only been that server that was noted to have a weird CPU alert. The only other oddity that was noted was that some reboots for a…

So far, it has not been an issue since then. I am really leaning towards a profile tweak by our IAM team that just as quickly got rolled back. There's no other identifiers to go off of.
-
Perfect! Thanks - I figured it would be some simple like that. Now that I know - I know!
-
Awesome. I updated our timeout settings. As i stated, i'm only on this PT so learning a lot as I go. I also got a sensible reply from support about enabling an alert called "No Polling Engine Update in last 10 minutes". Hopefully all this combined will give me some insight as to what is going on. I appreciate everyone's…
