The workstations that would be accessing the Orion server.

I think there are a few built in ones. You can also assign a exchange application monitor that's built into SAM to some of your exchange servers so they can start collecting additional information besides availability, cpu, memory, etc. You can search from the reports page type exchange and see some of the built in ones.…

That's almost exactly what mine look like! Often the Te say major -40 or less. I just took one look at a core switch and low and behold: I've also noticed it's more often the Receive Power Sensor for some reason.

Here's what in it apparently: Free MCAFEE-SENSOR-CONF-MIB SNMP MIB Download - Free MIB Download - Search MIBs - OiDViEW I often use these to make a custom poller for some things using universal device poller with the OID's I can find that apply to my devices. It's not perfect but often better than nothing if it's not…

The PI2 from our previous challenge needed wifi dongle. I got this one for it and it works great! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00H95C0A2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I'll be curious to see if the Pi3 built in wifi is as good as the one I got with antenna.

I would also assume that everyone on NTA3.6 would see the same behavior. Maybe some other people can check???
-
Any luck for you TXNOGAS? Curious what your result is. Also what version of NPM are you on?
-
I tried the report also and got the same error. I then tried editing SQL to use OrionNetPerfMon instead of NetPerfMon and tried the query... I ended up killing it because it seemed to be taking an extended period of time to run. EDIT: sotherls can probably shed some light...

Sorry to inform you that isn't how it works... to get any updates you must be under maintenance.
-
Just did it and so far ok: Orion Core 2012.2.1, SAM 5.5.0, NPM 10.4.1, NTA 3.10.0, IVIM 1.5.0 Only problem I've into so far with SAM5.5RC is when I went back in the database R/W to set my EventTypes table Volume Remapped, Volume Disappeared, and Volume Reappear and tried to set them to not record... I've run into what must…

I have to admin I had a ticket I opened go no where for a week... I had to call and get someone on the phone during the day to get it moving. SW is growing fast and now that they're owned by a larger international conglomerate there has been some growing pains for sure. I really like the improvements to all the websites…

I'll check with my VMware expert here that uses VMAN and also helps me with all the Orion Modules. He's an expert on all things VMware related too.
-
Hmmm that's not what i'd expect either cahunt. I hope you get that straight today or something in the right direction.
-
Sound like something else at 1.57 is trying to poll your devices with the wrong comm string possibly if I'm reading you right. Do you another product like CiscoWorks or something at 1.57? 1.57 may have wrong comm string set and is polling with it.

If you don't want it summarized by day turn off the summarize by day part and it will just show one line with average for the 7 day period :}

Can never go wrong with dog pics!!!

I used to have a customer called Radiologix years ago that did the same thing... those NMRI images are HUGE! You can never get a big enough pipe for that stuff... back in the day the doctors all had 2B+D ISDN at their homes to try and deal with them... boy times have changed... they can probably have fiber at the house to…

Yes especially since many do set it up this way and... to make matters worse... Kiwi used to do this o.O We are now in the process of replacing kiwi with NCM and this isn't the be all end all but it is a problem of sorts.
-
Nah we used to use nagios (it's actually still running) and has some WUG before too. Orion has been better than both of them but hard to argue with nagios price.
-
I think I could imagine that...
-
Funny that you say that Jeff... I seem to remember some of staff being customers like me back in the day!

With the NetApps and now with new InfoBlox DNS appliances I'm once again building custom UnDP's and customer Alerts/Reports to solve my problem. We already own a bunch of SW products but I'm not convinced I need another product to monitor my NetApps qtrees. At least NetApp has a pretty large mib with lot's of good info.…

Nice and simple Larry... if you have a lot of unmanged nodes that are often kept in Orion and since once unmanged you don't get any stats anymore at least you know when they were unmanaged at a glance.
-
I think Rob is right you need to create a UnDP for this first then use the UnDP data that's been collected as a resource and display it where you want.
-
I believe currently the only for it to work is to rdp to the NPM box and run the browser from there to reach the webserver in Orion. I run into the same problem with Engineers toolset as it's installed on the NPM server also. To be able to run tools from right click menu I have to be on the machine Engineering toolset is…

I like this solution to quickly check all the versions.
