Am I the only one that had "Fantastic Voyage" by Lakeside go through my head when I saw the title of this months mission? For the younger readers, here's the first verse (it helps to play imagine some Funk music playing): Hey, come on, come along take a ride There's a party over there, that ain't no jive It's live, live,…

I concur

Thank you for the update.

Are you asking for this to be a dynamic grouping or are you just looking to be able to place them into these groups? The latter is available now. I use it to map out all of our sites. It was very time consuming to get in place but I agree it does create a much more pleasant experience in looking for issues.

posted as well.

My wife says, "Well he used to be in the Air Force doing something I wasn't allowed to know about. Now he plays with something about monitoring or codes. Geek stuff."

I have to agree. We are licensed for unlimited monitoring but currently I am limited on how many interfaces I can monitor before performance starts degrading.

I am not seeing the reset, yet. Is anyone else seeing the same thing?
-
We are doing the same here. I have a map of all of our locations in North America up on the first monitor, the second monitor is a rotating dashboards within Vistara, the third monitor shows the Voice and video statistics, and the 4th shows the custom SW dashboard I made called BTW(Better Than WUG).

Nice catch. FYI SolarWinds marketing folks, you should update the product page. It says:

It depends on the flow in question and what the time-out you have set is. If for example it's an FTP download that is taking a good amount of time, the time-out would send flow data after 15 seconds (the inactive flow time-out). Even if it's not exactly real-time, it's going to be closer than every 5 minutes.

* IPv6 for your network - not likely in the near future * IP address management for dynamic cloud environments - IPAM is great for any environment I have had to manage spreadsheets to do this in the past and it is far too cumbersome. * Is Network Virtualization on your roadmap? Not in the immediate future but maybe in the…

Are you looking for something like this:

I am not sure about Web Help Desk. Running the SQL query to make the report or you might try an API call, one of those would likely your best bet. Would you be able to provide the table structure? I looked on the web, but I wasn't able to find one.

The hint for today takes us to the DPA demo, but the demo account and password that auto-populates doesn't login. When I click "login" it acts like it's trying to login, then goes back to the login page. There's no error or anything. Has anyone else hit this?

I'm in the same boat.

The link for the survey isn't working

That worked, thanks.

The network team uses SolarWinds NPM and NTA. They have been trying to get NCM and NTM approved for awhile now. The Server team uses SCOM as their primary tool. The Oracle team is using OEM. There are pockets that are using Zymon, WUG, Zabbix, Airwave (for wireless monitoring and management), and PRTG. For the entire…

Mine still showed the no correct entries.

Was anyones question 5 reset yet? Mine has not as of yet.

Ansible and Kubernetes are our big pushes going forward.

You might already be able to do that. I created that table with the web based report writer. Having the report only run against only nodes that have Office would require using the SWQL query. It would like sort of like this: SELECT Nodes.DisplayName, Software.Name, Software.InstallDate, Software.Publisher, Software.Version…

ecklerwr1 My current thinking is this question was posted prior to the one warning clearing at 12:14 AM, but I'm not able to say that is the case with 100% certainty.

During my time in IT, I have found several ways that help with the life-cycle of old/aging gear. A lot of this depends largely on what your company will allow you to do with equipment being retired. Here are some of the ways that I have seen used: Find an IT vendor that buys back old gear to help pay for your new purchases…
