And to give credit where due, support was able to help us(rgeist works for me) resolve our issue. Thank you to support for their assistance in resolving this issue.

I also think there should be release notes for MIB DB updates.

Ruckus is a core component of our network services. SolarWinds support for Ruckus would be a high priority for our monitoring needs. Is there anything needed to make this support more likely? We have the ability to create test networks, a variety of hardware, and would be willing to work with SolarWinds to make this happen…

How about someone fix the link to the text file that would let us use the information on this page? Seriously, this link appears to have been broken since at least 8/24 of last damn year. Surely someone went to the effort to write this up, and I would like to apply this information, so let's fix this, please!

Shocked this data can't be used to inform dependencies. This is so telling.

We are all in contact with SolarWinds support, as we wrote. We still are waiting a resolution for our currently-not-monitoring monitoring system. "We are not aware of any installation problems." Go talk to support. We have both contacted support directly and opened tickets and just informed this thread of two failed…

Any progress on making a list of MIBs in the MIB database available? This seems pretty fundamental to me, and was written as an issue (reference #88830 referred above) apparently quite a long time ago. Anything at all?

Is there any additional information about the Remote Polling(crummy name, btw; Poll Caching seems more accurate)? We are running 10.5, and is anything required to enable this feature? You seem to indicate that local storage requirements are different, and the document you reference does not give administrators any…

Can't believe this isn't a button. Also, the fake exporting to Excel loses some formatting elements. All your hidden fields suddenly are back in your report. You know, the formatting you spent all that time on? Yeah, that isn't what exports into Excel format, you get all the extraneous extras you already filtered for…

I also wish to emphasize that this should be reverted. It does not add any relevant information in a space that is constrained for pixels. Revert, ASAP please.

Using 11.0.1 here, and we are not seeing any behavior that indicates that anything is even reading this Filter box at all. We have entered all varieties of %, *, single quotes and double quotes, all with no effect at all. It doesn't even produce query errors, as shown when we entered the string Nonsense String into the…

What is the status for expanding this tool to be usable for polling things beyond CPU and Memory? We have tons of UnDP pollers, and the requirement that we manually assign these pollers is a giant pain in the butt. This tool has been available for quite a while, and looks like it is supposed to be a new standard for…

My old eyes thank you.

All switches are configured to poll for topology, Layer 3 and Layer 2. UDT poller logs are located where, please?
-
Did the dark blue text revert some how? It seems to have returned to the pale blue.

I do find that more readable.Thank you for considering my suggestion.

Their affinity for Cisco might not be all that great either since NPM has recognized our Cisco ASA as a generic node. I just went through the voting that was for previous controllers, and it looks like they added Meru, but that seems to have been a while ago.
-
We have worked around this by eliminating the units selection, setting it to empty. This causes the numbers to be in their native format(x,xxx, xxx, xxx), which can appear unwieldy for readability, but will place graph scaling and pop-up number accurately.

The Help link is still broken, and the other two links are to such obvious placeholders in place of documentation as to be insulting. Brand new feature, links to non-documentation, and we are supposed to just figure it out on our own? And this was brought up in April.
-
wluther it seems like the kind of thing that should be available. I'm unclear on where NPM customizations and extensions are supposed to come from without any documentation on how to make them. Very confusing.

I have been familiar with SW referring to "port" as UDT related info, but this information is showing up in the Interface Details resource, which is the most default resource on the interface page. It would seem odd to me if it contained any UDT information. That said, can anyone say for certain whether this Port Mode…

Both devices are set to poll L2 and L3 No ACL's that appear to be obstructing show cdp neighbor from CLI shows missing local interfaces And the custom SWQL query resource I pasted in above on the same node shows the correct local interface, so SolarWinds actually has the correct information, it is just not displaying it in…

Our upgrade issue was resolved by support. Details a this message

The switches I am referring to are D-Link and HP. Both return results for ipNetToMediaTable, but I am still not seeing any IP addresses in UDT. Where is the next spot I should be looking? Is there more detailed troubleshooting information anywhere?

Thanks for the hint to look in the C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\WER\ReportQueue directory for crash dumps. We appear to have ten or so ~700 MB hdmp dump files in our system. We have also been having issues where what were previously successfully polled switches for topo are now producing results that are discordant. We…

NPM installation is version 10.7.

Thank you for the reply. I understand that you are saying that Solarwinds has not formally tested against SP2, and therefore cannot state with certainty that there aren't hidden gotchas. Thanks for the answer. It helps.

This was the same information I ran into when attempting to find out what was happening. Explained to our network admin, and he began swearing under his breath at Cisco. This was the exact issue. Good catch, marked as a correct answer, thanks for your help.

Any status on this situation with native support for Ruckus equipment? We have 4000+ Ruckus AP's, including 7363's, 7343's, 7942's. and 2942's, as well as 100+ ZoneDirectors. I've seen in MIB Browser in Universal Device Poller that all the MIBs for Ruckus are available. Not being able to take advantage of the wireless…

We have been seeing the same thing here. Installed Hotfix 2 to fix the inability to filter report results using variables like $NodeID, which totally broke when we upgraded to 11.5.2, and is listed as fixed by Hotfix 2. Since this adversely affected our standard views for groups of devices, we needed that fix, but this…
