I do not have the VARIATIONS tab on my device. is there a way to enable this? the Device type is "Cisco.Wireless.Lan". I don't see any way to enable this. (BTW - we use the Cisco 5508 Wireless Controllers - and this device type does not have it listed specifically).

Thanks Andy. My schedule has returned to some sort of normalcy, so I will be spending some serious time looking at tweaking these alerts this week. The mail thing really gets me tho - such a simple thing, and its the biggest pain I have with our install. Looking forward to your findings.

nope - still behaves this way by default. There should be a configuration setting in the admin interface (or anywhere else) where we can TELL UDT what to "count" as a port. VLANS SHOULD NEVER BE COUNTED AS A PORT IN UDT.. you cant plug a cable into a VLAN, you plug a cable into a PORT.

Yes, Bshopp is correct - ${AcknowledgeURL} is now availble. I would love to change the text is shows.. When I add it to my alerts, I get an very unprofessional looking "to ack this alert click here". Would be thoughtful of the devs to allow us to edit the link text.. or did I miss something?

Nope. the email editor for advanced alerts does not support/allow for any formatting.. I have fought with this thing till im blue in the face.. A friggin TAB would be GREAT to have, but alas - it is apparently not on the hot list for the devs.. Same too - Advanced alerting is awsome, but the email editor is holding it back.

did you ever get this resolved? I know for us, I had to change my default settings on how configs are downloaded (i think i have mine set to use SSH auto right now). I saw this once before.
