So if I add a user to the netflow views and give them a direct URL to the netflow page for that router. Is this a work around?

Note sure how many Firewalls you have, but could you use a custom property for the firewalls? And just display based on the custom property?

Installed last night.. Went through without any problems. Howerver I did download a demo of symantec system state recovery and took an image just in case (quicker recovery that backup). We also had a couple of problems going from 8 to 8.5.

Hi Bleearg13 We dont use NT auth. We use the built in Orion authentication. So I guess I wont need to add the domain in? The Emails seem to be coming through OK. Its like the scheduler is having problems logging into the web interface. Do you know if we can log support tickets for the scheduler? Thanks Craig

I have also seen large ammounts of Microsoft-DS traffic on pc's within LANs using NTA. From what I could work out it was Windows file sharing.. But its odd that you are not seeing any disk activity or traffic... Maybe give TDImon a run and double check network activity..

Ok, thanks thats what I wanted to confirm. We try to use variables where we can in our message text. If there is no variable for the wait time, we will manualy enter it in. Thanks for that.

Is it possible to remove a tab bassed on the users access. IE: if the user does not have access to NTA nodes. can we move the NTA Tab for these users?

Yes, we are having the same type of problem. If we stop/start the Advanced Alerting engin the problem seems to be ok.. If I remove all alerts connected to custom mib pollers it does not happen. When it does crash our entire orion system becomes un-usable

It maybe a firewall.. You might want to run TDImon to see what is going on..

Some of our Advanced alerts are disabled.. and some how they have re-enabled without us enabling them.. Odd

Looks like my issue is now fixed.. Have not heard back from support yet..
