Yep, We are using a Symmetra 16000, its set to Get Next, OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.1.2.1.1, test works fine, Raw Value, Enumeration, Keep Real-time and Historical Stats. and the website reports "No Data" Odd. I sent an email to support so I will see what they say.

Or you could use MTUROUTE to find out the largest packet size : www.elifulkerson.com/.../mturoute.php

a V1 with basic port monitoring would be very useful. Also, we have a number of clients that do not allow ICMP Pings. They do run Mail / Web Servers, so if we could monitor their link status by using a service that would be very handy.
-
Also, another feature I have seen in other apps that monitor SMTP. They have the ability to send an Email through the Mail server and pop it back out to ensure the mail server is processing the emails correctly.

-
Possible Option.. Could you not have an alert set to run between 7:00am and 7:15 am ?
-
We would also like to be able to alert on the 95th percentile. Our internet plan is also based around the 95th percentile.

Ahh OK Great.. Thanks for that.. Thanks Craig

OK Great, thanks heaps for all the info.. I gave it a try on our poweredge 2850 and was not able to read OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.674.10892.1.200.10.1.9.1 .. I ran a MIB browse on it and can only locate 1.3.6.1.4.1.674.10893..... Do I need to be running any dell agents to query the 10892 mibs? As the 10892 appears to list…

Further Testing --- I also get this with new accounts when setting up a "Single Network Node' or "Group of Nodes" limitation. Other limitations work OK - IE; Node Name Pattern

OK Great.. Thanks for that

OK Great, thanks for your help.. If the node goes into a warning state, and then a down state, I only get notifed of the warning. Will I need two seperate alerts to be notified of both? Thanks
-
OK Will do. I will let you know how I go.. Ta
