I asked the same question about a year ago, SW support's suggestion was to purchase another web server and remove the views from that server. I hope this is going to be fixed soon. As we have users that login, we often have to change their access views and they are still able to view pages they dont have access too.

Our main page had the last 10 syslog messages being displayed. When we removed this it improved the performance by about %50..

We use page gate. took a while to configure / work out how to use.. But once up its quite easy.. and works well..

I stop the all orion services before i reboot.. I think I remember reading somewhere that some users even uninstall the alerting service.. I have never done this..

The Admin / Account list Manger will show you when they last logged in.. It will give you a quick overview status, but not historical logins.

We would like to remove the modules tab/bar(top of the web screen) if a user does not have access to any modules.

Oh.. Also, I do have a small work around.. Not 100% sure if it will work with what you need.. But if you give the users the correct access in the admin. And supply them with the URL of the netflow main view for the node. They are able to view the netflow details with the URL.. You could possibly create a menubar item that…

We are also waiting for this.. our netflow implementation is only half complete.. We are not able to supply any logins to clients.. I hope this feature is available soon..
