P.S. the above will work, but Powershell will return a: The remote server returned an error: (406) Not Acceptable. Why it says it's not acceptable, but still accepts it, I have no idea. If you add ".json" to the end of your URL, it doesn't balk. sorry about that

You can do it pretty easily if you're comfortable giving the API a shot (ref: https://apidoc.samanage.com/#tag/Other-Asset/operation/deleteAssetById ) SPIDERMAN DISCLAIMER: With great power comes great responsibility. Loops + deletes are great power. Be sure to test the below before letting it loose on your instance.…

Thanks @joeybrown Glad I'm not going crazy! I probably will end up going that direction. The main reason I was avoiding messing with states is that I didn't want to mess up any views/filters other people had created. A little pain for some worthwhile growth isn't the end of the world though. Thanks again

Thanks for this! I second the "pull someone non-technical" tip. My boss likes to tell a story about how one of our guys made some documentation about how to do something in a conference room. He didn't understand why the people weren't getting it: "it's right there in the instructions!" So bossman brought in a nontechnical…

I know this was old, but I was looking for the answer to another question and ran across this. In my experience, the authentication with Intune *looks* transparent for me. SWSD already has SSO set up with Azure, meaning my browser has an active session, so it just goes. I would only see an azure pop up if I put in a bad…

You're right! I've been using this feature since it was introduced and I'm a big fan. Ours is part of a form for onboarding and creates tasks for all the different groups that set up access. The only goofy thing I've seen with it was if the very first entry in the concurrent group is a condition set, it doesn't work…

Thank you for confirmation!

Are you saying that when you replace a computer, you reuse the asset ID of the computer it replaces? In our instance, we treat asset ID as unique, although they don't have to be (i tested by changing 3 to all have the same Asset ID). Reimaging hasn't been a problem, as the new agent install points it right back to the…

Thanks for running that to ground, Joey!

Any update on this one? Having inherited our SWSD instance, I was going to go through and clean up custom fields that we're no longer using (somehow, we ended up with over 800...). If it's going to wipe information out of a bunch of old tickets. I probably dont want to do that...
