We will have an RC out very soon (days or weeks, not months). I'll post here when the new RC is available. --Christine

Hi GriGri - one of the other product managers sent me a link to the older documentation on the SOAP interface. I think you have seen this, but just in case here it is. http://support.ipmonitor.com/devdocs.aspx --C

I sent you an email. No, there isn't any doc about the SOAP interface, sorry. It's one of those things that is there but not supported or documented. --C
-
Hi Ericlau - yes, that's right - that is a new feature in NPM 10 and NCM 6. There's a blog post about it here. --Christine
-
Hi Binuani - ipM and SpiceWorks are really different from what monitoring capabilities, what they do with your data, etc. It really depends on what trade offs you want to make. It's sort of like making the comparison with open source. If free is what you're optimizing for, then that will surely suit you better. If you're…

We have an RC version coming out shortly that has been tested on 2008 R2. It should be available in a matter of days. --Christine
-
Hi Markj - we have this in our feature tracking system. Thanks for your input! --C
-
Hi Hugh - was support able to help you? If you do get an answer, it would be super if you could post it here - since we have the problem outlined as well. --C
-
Hi all - we are tracking it internally as a feature request. --Christine
-
Hi Joe - could you open a support ticket? There's not enough info on this for me to work from, but if there's a bug in the engine we should definitely look into it. --Christine
-
Hi Simon - I'm the new PM for IpMonitor. We definitely have been looking at the places where the device name is not displayed and we are working on fixing that issue. We want you to know that this is a top-of-mind issue - and we're going to get it done.
-
Hey Dave - I'll add this to the feature request list. --Christine
-
Grodech - we're rolling out another RC and this bug is fixed in that one. The RC should be available shortly. --Christine
-
Hi Lateforwork - thanks for your feedback on EOC. We're in the RC phase for 1.3 and this release has a performance focus. I think you'll probably see your last concern addressed by upgrading, but if you don't, let us know and we'll work through it with you. On the top 3 requests in your list - I can give you some updates.…
-
Questionario - we do have it, but I assume you meant that you're looking for what user is logged in. You've seen the "discovered links" report in Orion yes? (reports->topology reports->discovered links). What user is logged in is coming up on the road map. --Christine
-
Hi Eric - based on the amount of data being transferred - I think your diagnosis is correct. I can't think of a way to speed it up, other than increasing the connection speed of course. I will say that we're working on increasing performance and ultimately that will help, but that doesn't help you a lot in the short term.…

Thanks Derik - count noted! This is being tracked as a feature request. --Christine
-
Hi Pyro13g - one of the things we're currently working on is improving the inventory reporting. I can't promise that it will be in the next release, but we're hoping that it will be. I think the improvements will solve a lot of the issues you describe. --Christine
-
Hi Clint - Can you open a support ticket for this. We need to investigate. --C
-
Yes, it's in there. --Christine
-
Thanks - I entered both these requests into our tracking system. --Christine
-
You know, I just re-read your post and was going to say that I should have read better to start with. Sorry about that. I would suggest opening a support ticket in that case--we need to get this fixed for you! --Christine
-
Hi DDX - the release candidate does have the R2 support you're looking for. Have you tried it out yet? It is in your portal if you are a current customer. --Christine
-
Hi Questionairio - this is on the road map with high priority - absolutely. --Christine
-
Thanks - I'm following up on both of these. --Christine
-
Hi All - the RC of ipM 10.5 is ready for any customers on active maintenance interested in participating. If you are, please send me an email at christine.bentsen@solarwinds.com and we will get you set up. --Christine
-
Hi Mobiusyuger: thanks for the feature requests. Most, if not all of these, are available in APM. Have you had a chance to check out the new pricing for the standalone product? As for IpM - you are right that AD authentication is on the road map for IpM. You can see the rest of what we are working on for IpM here:…
-
Hi Ciag - thanks for all your input. I'll track this one in our feature requests as well. In the meantime - did you see the mock ups of what we're working on in the policy reporter? --Christine
-
Hey WillC - ok that *is* really strange. I will log this as a bug. Thanks for the additional information. -Christine
-
Hi Brian - sorry for the delay. This is going to be fixed in the next release (we're just about to enter RC phase) and we do have a hotfix available if you need it sooner. Let me know? --Christine
