Ok, thanks for the clarification. Regarding your other upgrade issue, I would go ahead and open a support ticket on that issue as it appears to be an upgrade issue with Orion NPM 9.1. I would try rerunning the Orion Config Wizard and ensure you have the website checked for update.

Based on the commands you've shown, it should be relatively easy to create a new template and modify it for use with your Huawei device. There's a technical reference posted here that describes this process: Please have a look and try and if you run into problems, we can troubleshoot further.

Yes, you can do this with Orion as well. The way it works in Orion is you install the Windows Event Log Forwarder on your Windows Server, which converts Windows Event Log to Syslog. From there, you can use Orion's Syslog Server and its powerful pattern matching and alerting capabilities.
