Many tiers of accessibility in my environment. Discretionary access will be critical. There should be some capabilities permitted to "users" and expanded capabilities for customizing code and other content types.

Traffic information in NetPath would be helpful. Visual firewall connection mapping is my #3.

air gapped multi-network, multi-vendor solutions which do not integrate cohesively. I can neither confirm nor deny a government directed implementation.

@kpina Please reset my Q8 since I did not put the punctuation in the response. I did not want to spoil the fun by reading the comments section. I love Caesar ciphers! Thanks for such a fun mini-mission!

What kills productivity? Day 10 question active on Day 5 which does not award any THWACK points. hehehehe

Watching the 4 core will tell you if there are "sniffles" in the systems, but the path to "health" monitoring starts at the service availability and performance. A good example is with Microsoft Exchange servers. They generally will capture all available CPU and Memory resources when busy, and in larger organizations, they…

The UI is less relevant than the content and the observability. Some features of the modern dashboard are great for summarizing, but some observers would prefer to see more details. For instance, in a NOC environment, where user interaction is minimal, combining details with the summarized information provides the maximum…

Except that DoD locations cannot get to the hint site. Can anyone help a brother out with a screenshot posted here?

The US DoD does have a variety of compliance requirements that are beyond many accepted commercial practices. I seem to recall a variety of issues with a laptop purchase some years ago which had a default web connect button on the keyboard that connected directly to a Chinese support agency. This button allowed the remote…

I think there are a lot of very smart technology experts in Thwack. It is very hard to "dumb it down" to just the basic facts. I have a hard time taking the certification exams when I read questions and I have relevant real-world experience. The book answer does not always match up to the practical way of executing the…

I would like to comment about the 3rd option. The way I see it, monitoring is primarily made up of the functions of data collection, alerting, and historical/trend reporting. Setting the thresholds will determine if alerting occurs or not. The data will still be collected and the historical/trend reporting can still be…

Thought I was complete with the Mission but it looks like I did not click something in the final poll - although I remember clicking my vote and I even commented. Maybe wabbott will take pity on me so I can be in the running for the prizes. Or not... always the bridesmaid, never the bride.

Perhaps the question would make more sense worded "What method ultimately determined the scripting environment to demo from the 'Wheel of Scripting'?". But this would still not make a lot of sense since the "ultimate" selection was a bit rigged.

Since you asked... sometimes when non-routable IPs are used for heartbeats/management interfaces between monitored nodes, those IPs are mismatched to IPs used on transit tunnels across the external/commercial networks. I would prefer to customize the hops in NetPath so some nodes do not get matched to the monitored…

Is "disabling local/domain users" the same as "logging off"? I would not think so but I do not have LEM to review the action list in product. DAMN OCD!

I agree. Event Correlation and Deduplication are basic functions of a "single pane of glass" manager of managers. The implementation could be similar to the alert manager in NPM. Rules are built around the data collected in EOC database with the ability to trigger or cancel the trigger. Unfortunately, this request includes…

my experience in the demo showed 2 memory alerts. Looking through one of them, the graph for "Page Life Expectancy" did not show. Select the other memory alert (maybe the Microsoft Server )
