WHAT?!? Network Management is not "self-documenting" like my government leadership believes?
-
As already mentioned... a reset for 11 Sep could be in order.
-
I believe the common inclination is for everything to be "in your face" after you click the link for the hint. In the case of Question 11, you may get a better "in your face" result if you click around (specifically expand the navigation tree on the left side).

go through his pockets and look for loose change!

@"danielleh" I still see an unanswered question for Day 11 - Aug 16 (as many have reported here). Could you reset that question for me so I may retry? Or is there another mechanism to get the coveted Checkmark? Thank you!
-
What?!?! No "Rockem Sockem Robots"?!?!?
-
Bureaucracy is molasses slow.... In an Alaskan winter... Flowing uphill... On Denali... IT needs to be quick quick QUICK! If you are not quick, you are not useful.

Question 19 is confusing. Would stp-esx-01 be vmotioned or the VM (vman-2008r2-sql) hosted on stp-esx-01 be the focus of the action to reduce alerts?
-
I got the same... I heard that Kevin and Leon came up with the Wheel of Scripting over a game of.... but no matching response to the Day 2 Mission question options.

Thank you!

@"ChrystalT" I think the issue is more widespread. I see multiple Thwack posts mentioning store/cart issues and individual fixes. Please update my account with the fix as well. Thank you!

The article states that some views are "sanitized" and some are not. Disabling and then re-enabling implied the un-sanitized resources could be made sanitized.
-
OK... finding out additional details as I explain the issue to other team members.... The broken links appear to be due to implied source locations (which previously worked) rather than using a full URL reference. For instance, previously I could use <img src="images/picture.jpg">. When this is copied to another Custom…

Actually... That did not work for me. When I set HTMLResourceSanitizationEnabled to unchecked, then refresh the page, I get only broken link icons for the images. These same images have work in other views, likely due to views being created prior the implementation of HTML sanitization. I also saw a setting…
-
Sheez... I should have thought of that! Thank you so much!

2020.2.6. I thought since the security implementations applied to 2020.2.5 and later, so I expected it to apply.
-
Understood. Thanks for the quick response! However, should there be some field in the Views table or the Resources table that suggest "sanitization" has occurred? If setting to False, then refreshing a view allows for content to be displayed for new views, then setting back to True to block the Custom HTML widget for newly…

Could the approved "Sanitized" setting be configured on the view/widget definition in the database? I would prefer to do the approval individually rather than enabling "Sanitizing" for all existing views that might have been created without my knowledge.

NTA has a huge memory use requirement, so is in a separate SQL instance in our environment. Standard is likely fine unless you plan to implement data warehouse features.
-
Possibly between 20-70% in GOV Cloud, but public cloud would most likely be 0%.

I had an issue where the custom images on pages/atlas maps were disappearing/deleted every time the configuration wizard ran to rebuild the website. Setting the image files to "read only" (file property) solved the issue for me.

I am currently attempting to create a SAM API poller for F5-BigIP virtual server active connection counts so map the results in a perfstack view.

Too many chefs in the kitchen spoil the broth. Leadership just wants everything monitored without "Observability Objectives". This creates disparity between device roles or functional management groups (I think this is what others are calling "too many silos"). Sharing the observability presentation possibilities, the…

All accounts are Windows authentication with 2FA, except where username and password are the only option. We do have automatic logon set for the website. User logins are passed from the browser session credential, admins logout back to the login screen and are prompted for a certificate to get back in. Somehow, I had a…

Within EOC 2020.2 logged in as myself: - Open My Dashboards/Enterprise Groups, find a group of interest (I did not choose the same group or Orion site), click to drill down, Orion site opens Group Details with my login. - Open My Dashboards/Enterprise Groups, find a group for the same site as the original post concerns,…

try tagging mavturner, who I believe is the new PM for EOC.

I will cancel the join request and re-request.

Thanks for the clarification on cleaning up the EOC 1.x machine prior to installing EOC 2.0.
