Learn something new everyday. I had no idea Maria DB was a thing. Still not sure if it is applicable to today's Q.

Can us locals that aren't Ignite attendees crash this?

So if todays question is asking us to identify which products can correlate data, it needs to be reset. This is verbatim from the clue: Correlate data from the following SolarWinds products: * NPM 12.1 or later * SAM 6.4 or later * VMAN 7.1 or later * NTA 4.2.2 or later * SRM 6.4 or later * WPM 2.2.1 or later * EOC 2.0 or…

My feeling about todays Q: Think I'll revisit this in a few.

Love all the prizes, as well as the theme.

Straight forward today, but some good info in there!

1. New 65" 4k tv (surprisingly cheap now) 2. Kano or Raspberry pi for the kids 3. Lego WeDo set.

We have had fun dealing with all the issues of implementing Cisco ISE. Not really ISE's glitches, but HP! HP has no discernible mapping of their OUI's so dynamic mapping via MAC addresses is impossible. Printers and laptops being dynamically added to the wrong groups has caused months of headaches. We're almost through it…

Having not used the product, I would think all the answers are possible, even if they are not explicitly mentioned. Looks like you can monitor whatever you enter into the Watchlist for Domains, and I don't see a limitation. Same for Email addresses. I'll hold off a bit as well.

So I found these sites helpful: Bottom of the page states 1 that they share, and 2 that Service desk has, and web help desk does not. Service Desk | Features | SolarWinds and the link provided earlier for all things Web HelpDesk:…

I spent over an hour going through links and reading the release notes. If only I would have scrolled! Thanks for the heads up!

You must learn more about v12.1 and then ask yourself, do you know how to read a datasheet?

A funny video about what we wish we could say as IT professionals to our clients/users would be very much appreciated, like a "aren't you glad you don't have this IT Pro in your office." type of thing.

I have found that I am still learning new skills at an elementary level. So I've been working family time into my learning by teaching my elementary level children what I'm learning. We are both at the same knowledge level, which is humbling, but it's been rewarding to see them figure things out on their own. I am…

Happy Birthday to me! Don't overthink it.

So I'm probably being ridiculous....but I'm pretty sure you can create a rule to trigger an event in another program that could totally make this drone taco thing happen.

Thanks for verifying, it worked for me too. I was worried with the technical difference between submitting a ticket vs. keeping an incident queue. Overthought it.

So the rest of the upgrade went great! All of my data is still there (with the exception of the old Flow data due to the info being stored on the main DB instead of a standalone server. I am having some slowness on the webpage because the website optimization won't complete, but it is getting better. I did have to contact…

When I try to run this I get an error that the concat function requires 2 to 254 arguments. Total SQL noob, so no experience troubleshooting this. Any help would be awesome.

Just to add to this... on the SolarWinds side you will get 2 options of netflow interfaces: sp lan and sp wan. For our config, and most others I'm assuming as well, the sp_lan is the internal interfaces combined into 1 logical, and the sp_wan is the external interface (since we only have one on each silver peak, I can't…
