I hope so too!

I monitor active sessions on a PRI (T1) with OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.3076.2.1.2.17.1.9. I used SW SNMP MIB Browser to get that OID. I don't have any E1's so that's as close as I can get it for you.

Works for me, I just followed the directions...

I briefly looked over your comments, and some of your requests the product does do. You might want to check out the admin guide.

Ed- I was told by SW that version 8 will support SNMP v3 with encryption and authentication. We require for our DOD certification and we needed verification for it.

Sounds more like a training issue than an issue with Cirrus.

I had a somewhat similar problem. My resolution was under each node, under the Communication Heading, set the Device Command Template to Cisco IOS. The ones that were blank I could not SSH into, but could telnet. HTH.

Sorry I had such a vague post. I need custom thresholds for each customer. For example Customer 1 wants 70% CPU utilization as a Warning level and 75% as the High level. Customer 2 wants 85% CPU utilization as Warning level and 90% as the High level. I understand how I can set the alerting for each customer. I need to set…

Since it's a 3560, you could run a snippet on all 3560s switches. I would do a show version, which will show you the serial number, and then in the results window/text file, do search for the missing serial number.

Then you have to find the OID and add it. We can't do everything for you.

What are you looking to monitor? If you monitor the L3 of the VLAN, you should see everything traversing the VLAN. Otherwise you'll have to monitor each interface in the VLAN.
-
Can you post the device Template?
-
This is a tough one. I thought I could create a new DeviceType, but it always errors out. I practiced through a snippet, but it looks like it keeps appending a comma for a Carriage Return and putting the information at a strange placeholder. Maybe someone for SW can explain the way CIRRUS logins and looks for prompts. My…

Why not unmanage the node?

Very nice, how about posting it!
-
Thank you all for the good info.

We send Netflow in and we have never had any issues. Just make sure you properly secure the connection through the firewall. Good Luck!

Most cell phones have SMS addresses (come as a standard feature) and most phones can have an email address added. There is a difference.
-
Mine work great. Where are you having problems?
-
I was told by SW that it will be available by EOY 2006 (I would assume v8).

I am able to view CPU and RAM usage, if you like I can check the version levels (running on multiple servers).
-
My upgrade puked I opened a TS ticket (9/29) and I heard back today that I'm S.O.L. until the first Service Pack is released (which may resolve my problem).
-
I would create a job to copy vlan.dat from the VTP servers.

Our blackberry's are still 6 months from being deployed so I don't have experience with them, but can 't you just send an email page? I have SMS on my phone and I send an email to my phone number. For example 5551112222@email.uscc.net

Ping a node out on the internet (my favorite is 4.2.2.2, sorry Verizon). If SW can't ping it, your connection is probably down.
-
There is an NBAR MIB/OID (1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.244.1.2.1.1)

I was able to download and install the calc OK. I downloaded it from 45mb FTP link on AT&T.

Is sc.exe in your path? I'm not sure where the script is run from, but you might want to try and use the full path to sc.exe.
