We are now having to do cert changes every 6 months, and our cert provider is warning that it's soon to be 3 months. SWSD needs to be proactive in putting something in place using something like the ACME standard.

It's there for me! Thanks.

The naming of these nodes has created a lot of traps, as they're very similar, and the node which is highlighted when clicking the hint link is NOT the node they're asking for. I picked the correct answer and got it right as well, but I almost got it wrong by looking at the wrong node first.

Bah, today's confusion got me. Didn't see anything other than one of the answers that I liked at the hint link. Ah well. Looking forward to the rest of this mission, as we just got IPAM a week or 2 ago and need to learn how to use it.

Precisely!
-
But it helps me feel better.

Dear Tegile Storage Array and VMware: Thank you for simplifying our new billing software environment rollout. Dear Oracle: Thank you for the new appreciation we have for every other software company and their amazingly straightforward and honest licensing schemes...(not sarcastic at all, I swear...)

I was thinking the same thing! Dude, prize game = stepped up!

Thank you, Danielle. I've watched the video 2 more times. Still not 100%, so I'm going to put it on the back shelf for the moment. Come back to it and see if something else jumps out at me. Thank you again for the second chance.

vcaldwell The question asks how many Workload Balancing Strategies are recommended. I clicked the hint link and signed into the demo. On the demo, I am presented with several filters on the left, one of which is strategies. When I expand that out, I am presented with the correct answer of the number of workload balancing…

I am a systems administrator, but I also manage the service desk. In my role as sysadmin, I also manage projects, so it's a combination of multiple roles in the poll. :) I answered "Other".

I didn't even have the audio on, and got the answer from what was on the screen.

Is there something we have to do in order to get the Global Response Templates available? I don't see it anywhere in our single provider or in the organization? We just migrated to ESM this last weekend, so things aren't exactly where I'm used to them being, but I can't find this option anywhere. Would like to test it out.…

ebradford One thing I noticed is that the little icons give you a clue as to what cloud provider they're running in. The ones running in Azure will have a little windows icon next to them. The ones running in Amazon AWS will have a little cube. Another way to tell is to mouseover the systems you're curious about. There is…

Can you use custom forms for different categories of incident for this purpose? Our Business Apps team developed their own category which has custom fields that I think are displayed when they create an incident in this category. It's kept separate from the other incidents using category and their incidents have more info…

I marked your answer as helpful. Who knows how many lives you'll save???

Had a prizewinner from last week been selected?

My family thinks I fix computers...for free, apparently. When I tell them I am a systems administrator, they visibly lose consciousness and wake up only to ask me why their computer is so slow, and to ask me to take a look at it before dinner.
-
100%. And I agree with your assessment above, too.

If I go to Power BI and try to install the app from there, there are no templates available. It says I'd have to add to Organizational apps, and I'm not sure how I would be able to do that. (I am my tenant's Global Admin, but I'm not sure we can add someone else's app to Organizational apps.) Support originally gave me a…

Agreed. We're looking at implementing chat, and noticing a chat message is already the biggest hurdle to overcome at this time. Some of our agents say that the icon doesn't even turn blue for them. The notifications options, doing a toaster pop up are a little better, but maybe an additional chat app would be good?
-
I imagine this would be difficult to test, but the Get It Now button doesn't work for folks in GCC. I'm still researching if there's a solution for this, but especially powerBI, the URL to the services online are often different than the commercial ones.

Same with me. The word "Used" was not in the hint, and I thought you guys were trying to catch us not paying close attention, so I didn't check that one. (A failing of us detail-oriented IT guys, I guess.) Can the question be revised and reset, please?
-
Likely story.
-
That's the problem. When it tries to log me in, it tells me "You've selected Microsoft Fabric free" and then tells me it's not available for my work or school account.
-
#1 would be really good, especially considerring that you cannot use dynamic form rules logic based on Contract Type field to display/edit Contract Type-based fields after contract creation.
-
Honestly, it hasn't been a huge problem. It's only partially my responsibility, but our Internet is so locked down that most of our users actually just use their phones' data to do things like shopping. Many of them think we have nothing better to do than to watch their Internet usage reports, anyway. We just don't argue…

Had this use case need this morning. The access cards we use are expensive. If a user loses several, his supervisor probably needs to know about it. Easy button would be to CC the requester's manager, but that option is not available...only specific people. As was also mentioned, Automation Rules would make sense too,…

Computers were video games to me. In the pursuit of gaming goodness, I learned about the various parts of a computer, how to make them faster, how to resolve common problems...even how to administer a WWIV BBS (hosting a Shareware Disc download AND door games like Legend of the Red Dragon and Tradewars!). When I moved in…

IT uses SWSD almost exclusively for IT Change Management and Incident/Request management in the Service Desk. We have another system for our OT change management, and I've heard of one other team that uses their own system (building services.) However, this year, the IT manager is rolling out incident management and…
