What conditions would you see this working in? Obviously if a node goes down, it cannot send a trap. Needless to say, this is not a feature we support today.
-
It may work, however, we did not test against 3.0.2, only 3.5 and 4.0. We cannot guarantee it.
-
Not today, this is an open enhancement we have. You may want to check these two extensions out here and here
-
Can you elaborate what you mean here? Not following you.
-
Not yet, we have some larger changes we want to make to the web console before we do this? Why? Performance is one reason, we add more and more resources to the view we need to make sure performance stays good. Also usability and user flows in the UI etc.
-
OFE? Do you mean the Failover Engine?
-
Based on what you mentioned in the post it appears SNMP is not getting through to the device. Are their any ACL's or firewall rules blocking SNMP between the Orion server and the device? Do you have a MIB Browser anywhere and can confirm SNMP is working properly or can you look at a wireshark packet trace?

Edgar, If you go to Admin -> Manage Nodes and at the top of the window, change the drop down from nodes to interfaces and then select one or more interfaces you wish to set as unplugged via the checkboxes and select edit properties. Within this dialog there is a checkbox called Display interface as unplugged rather than…

No, to run Windows 2008 you will need to upgrade to NPM 9.5. 9.1 supports Windows 2003 9.5 supports Windows 2003 and 2008

This is a known issue we are currently working with Cisco to resolve, see this thread for more details here. Until then you can create UnDP's to pull these values
-
Are you using 64 bits counters? What type of device is this?
-
Not aware of this issue. Are you a customer or evaluating? If a customer, please open a support ticket.
-
I have seen this on Thwack from only one other poster and I recommended he open a support ticket. Please include diagnostics.
-
Hard to gauge what is going on here, best bet is going to be to open a support ticket so they can investigate further
-
Did you in the past have Kiwi evaluation installed on this same box?
-
No, I do not believe this is possible
-
I have not heard of this issue from anyone else that I am aware of, please keep us posted on the result from support please
-
What is the behavior you are seeing? I just attempted this on my SP4 install and it unmanaged no problem
-
Please open a support ticket and reference this Thwack link
-
There is Static and Static-User Managed. Static-User Managed is the setting you want if you do not want the IP's to be scanned and you wish to manage the manually

One idea you can do is in configuring the SNMP Trap rule under the Trigger Threshold tab you can specify to suppress the alert unless we receive it x time in x period of time. Not sure if this would work, but you specify if you receive 1 trap within a 5 min window then suppress the alert. So if we received 0, you should…

I assume you are referring to the pop up tooltips correct? If so, see this post here to disable them completely
-
If I understand you, I think what you want to do is create sub-maps for the cities and drag those nodes in the cities into those sub-maps and then drag the sub-maps onto the primary main map
-
If you use Firefox, you can use the ReloadEvery and TabSlideshow extensions. I put a different view on each tab, and TabSlideshow will alternate through each one on a pre-specified time schedule. ReloadEvery sends a refresh to the page every 5 minutes or so in order to prevent timeout. It works great!

What version are you currently running. We used to gather and display different values in the gauge vs. under disk volumes if you had both being monitored and we switches that. If you have the disk volume selected we use that for the value we display in the gauge, so they should match and be accurate. If you only just…

Why not create another map called Sydney Colocation with just those nodes and then drag this map onto the parent map?
-
I will get this feedback into engineering and you are correct, I have not posted yet, but will be doing so soon. Keep the feedback coming!
-
Cisco kit? For 9.5 and Wireless we support the following currently Autonomous/Thick AP's if they support the 802.11 MIB Controllers/Thin AP's - Cisco and Aruba only at this time
-
Can you elaborate further please? We have Events in Orion which are internal system messages or events. What are you wanting to change or modify?
-
What is it showing up as? Are you using the evaluation/paid version or the free version?
