Completely fair and I can understand the response as the proof will be in the pudding. Just know that we do have a development team dedicated and actively working on the product and Peter or myself are always available to chat with anyone.

Very much alive and here. I will ping you offline as we have been doing web sharing style sharing and feedback for the beta of WHD. Also we will be entering release candidate (RC) very soon, so keep your ears up listening for that.
-
Understood and I have both of those on my list of items we are investigating deeper and are potentials for the release. Once we have a more formal plan locked down I will communicate back to the community.
-
Dave, yes, absolutely. I will ping you offline via email to coordinate something.

@"sphil608" this is at the Orion instance level, not the per poller level. Prior to 2020.2 we supported up to 400,000 elements in a single deployment, with 2020.2 we not support 1M elements in a single deployment or instance of Orion. The per poller numbers have not changed.

Need some additional context to your question. Feel free to DM me or ping me via email to discuss further.

Hard to tell, did you specify the domain? You may have to go to settings and turn on verbose logging, try again and if you get the same error, send me the log.
-
kstone and sja I am working through this now in regards to plans for the next release. Are there any specific items that are of particular interest to you from a feature perspective?

Just search for EventLogConsolidator.log

Hello folks, some of you may know me, some may not from my Product Management days when I was the Product Manager for Web Help Desk. My name is Brandon Shopp and I now oversee the cross functional or cross domain set of products like Kiwi Syslog, DameWare, Web Help Desk, etc. and this includes Product Management. First, I…

Release Candidate is available in the customer portal, please go and download and upgrade your instance and let us know your thoughts.

No plans to share at this point, we are working on the roadmap now since the acquisition just happened Wednesday. We are planning a customer survey to their existing customer base to see what enhancements they would like to see going forward, but SolarWinds integration with other product is on our strategic list. So let me…

Doug, I am checking into this. My initial hypothesis is we have some content which gets populated in tabs on the left hand side of the UI and to get that content it downloads some info from our website. If the internet is not available or cannot access this url, then it just doesn't display the tabs. This could be where…

Not at this point in time. We are looking at a mini-migration utility for WHD folks like you for the future, but it would be more focused on configuration and settings vs. ticket history.
-
This is in active development now. Would love to hop on with some of you to show and get feedback, but also if possible to get API and SNMPWalks for additional setups to test against internally and also learn more about how things are configured, how many orgs and controllers, etc.

patricks wrote: Are all the above mentioned features targeted for 12.2? Everything written in this blog post is coming in the release we are working on now. patricks wrote: This needs to be more visible! Can you elaborate on this visibility comment. What part specifically needs to be more visible?

My name is Brandon Shopp and I am a VP of Products here at SWI and oversee WHD. Just to alleviate any concerns, WHD is NOT going away. If you look at the various numbers in terms of the service desk market size, it is quite large and based on owning WHD through the years we have heard demand for a SaaS product and we…

Glen, I just shot you an email offline so we can coordinate.

patrick.mchenry@loves.com, this is currently available in DameWare Remote Support or DRS for iOS and Android.
-
olgo13, luphisto and prot3ctor, we are working on formal Active Directory integration for DameWare and will soon be having a private beta to get feedback on the functionality and usability to ensure it meets the needs of our customers. If you are interesting in participating, please DM me via thwack.
-
We plan on having a UI/UX review before we go into RC soon later this week. Please let myself or Peter know if you are interested so we can put you on the invite.
-
What else would you like to see Bret? Happy to have a web meeting anytime to discuss deeper.
-
Today sound good for you? Kidding aside, we did go GA today for WHD 12.2 and DameWare. I believe it should be in the customer portal now for the bits, but it doesn't look like the release notes have been pushed to the web yet, let me check on the status of that.
-
Folks, beta is quickly approaching. You can see some of the items we are working on here, but if you are interested in the beta, please let myself or James Barnes know.

porourke, robertcbrowning, sybil.melton and others on this thread. We now have a release candidate of both SAM and vMan, which offer some container monitoring for Kubernetes, Docker and Mesos. We are doing dev assisted upgrades if you are a customer of either of those products and are interested in upgrading to the RC…

I checked with the dev team and they informed me we do not write to the event log if we cannot connect to the internet. Could you have a rule to write an event if an application does try?
-
Did you post it here - http://thwack.solarwinds.com/community/free-tools_tht/wmi-monitor
-
Ping me direct if you are interested

You mean you make mistakes? I do hourly, so I agree this makes sense. I will let Peter chime in here if he needs more info, but we will open an enhancement if one doesn't exist already in our internal systems.
