While you get APM in house, you could use the free WMI tool here to pull the Exchange counter
-
To publish a complete list is tough, cause that list would be HUGE. Let me see if there are any other options.
-
As a temp workaround, you can get the number of thin AP's by executing this query against SQL - Select count(*) from NPM_NV_WL_INTERFACES
-
I am sending you an email offline, but this is a known issue and should be addressed with the next SP
-
Are you looking for this info before you choose to connect to a machine and remote control into it or can you elaborate a bit further on how you would intend to use this?
-
Best bet for a quick resolution is a support ticket
-
Yes, if you edit the web map resource, there should be a checkbox to display it or not, but this is globally. Another thing to keep in mind, even if some users do download it and run it, if they do not have the manage nodes permission, they won't be able to log in.
-
Can you delete it from System Manager?
-
Have you checked out Dynamic Service Groups, which we added in NPM 10.1. This supports beyond 3 levels of nesting
-
Please upgrade to 9.1 SP3, this will resolve your issue. Please reference this thead here for more information.
-
We have never formally tested this free tool on Windows 2008 R2, so if possible I would recommend to run on Windows 2003.
-
That is odd, what is your resolution set to? Did you try clearing your web cache?
-
Test reply
-
There is not automated way to do this currently today in the product, this is an open enhancement we have in the system for a future release. As for a workaround to this, check out this thread
-
Eric, can you open a case with support so we can get all the needed info and get a defect filed.
-
Please open a support ticket to work with you to investigate
-
Have you seen this blog post Denny wrote

To determine the installed version and service pack level of APM you need to look in the system registry of the Orion server at: * HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SolarWinds\Orion\AP Monitor Version has the version number and HotfixVersion has the SP number (if one is installed).
-
To see what version and service pack of Orion NPM you are running, you can look in the footer of the Orion web page. Example mine says: SolarWinds Orion Network Performance Monitor 9.1 SP3 1995-2008 All Rights Reserved
-
No you cannot currently do this today. You can edit a file and disable them for all or have them appear for all
-
Can you please open a support ticket so we can work with you to investigate what is going on?
-
If you go to Settings -> License Details you should see much of this info there. What don't you see that you would like to see?
-
Based on customer demand, as well as market share our next priority is currently MSFT Hyper-v. As customer demand changes as well as market indicators, this could change, but as of right now, that is next on the list.
-
Are all devices being monitored in Orion using that port or just specific ones?
-
Yes, RC3 ended up being the GA build. So you are in essence on GA for 10.1.2
-
I am speculating you might be hitting the same issue as documented in this thread, see here
-
Hmm, I would recommend opening a support ticket and include diagnostics please
-
I would try one of the following two things: 1) Remove the Thwack resource from the Summary page 2) Upgrade your system to Orion 9.1 SP3
-
Do you have any modules installed? Also, how many nodes/interfaces/volumes are you monitoring? SQL Express is limited to only using 1GB, even though you have 3GB on this box.
