I will ensure a defect gets logged

So let me hopefully clear some things up. For Controllers, we currently only support Cisco and Aruba. For autonomous AP's, if they support the 802.11 MIB, they should work in Orion. Have you tried adding them to Orion and if yes, what happens?
-
Comic_nl, please open a support ticket so they can investigate. The original poster, I am looking into having an SE contact you or you can ask your sales rep for assistance.
-
Has everyone seen this blog post?
-
One suggestion would be to duplicate your database, point the eval at that. Let both run. Upgrade the eval to production when comfort level is reached.
-
So the MIB link posted above by PSI are not giving you what you are looking for? What were you attempting to poll, CPU and Memory as the others in this post?
-
Can you provide some more guidance on what specifically you are looking to do?
-
You might want to log a support call. Controller are supported from Cisco, but they use different OID's than the 802.11 MIB. Only thick AP's use the 802.11 MIB
-
Please apply SP1 and if still an issue, please open a support case

dwayneko, #1 - no, this means when a subnet or scope goes over a specified threshold, say 75% used, we will alert you. #2 - Yes, we can show you the last time an IP responded to a scan, if ever
-
Yep, we have this one high on our priority list.
-
SLXer, sorry for the delay in my reply. So specifically what are you interested in? The switch port mapping? What else?
-
Check the registry what the numbers actually are (LOCAL MACHINE\Software\SolarWinds.Net\SWNetPerfMon\Settings\ ?)Also there should be some log from the DB maintenance (now it’s called swDebugMaintenance.log (in program files/sw/orion)), there should be some numbers what’s actually used for summarization.Still think your…

teral42, thanks for the post. The last two items are requests we have heard before, I will be sure to append you to the request. How do you handle IP requests today? Regarding the first item you are essentially looking for IPAM to manage your DNS infrastructure so you can do so from a single console, correct?
-
This is something we are looking at adding in the future. When we surveyed a good portion of the IPAM user base on which DHCP Server infrastructure they use today, by far the response was Microsoft with Cisco second.
-
Sean, On the MSFT item, can you expand upon this a little further please. When you say share the range, you are saying both have the same scope of IP's and one is primary and the other is secondary or within the same subnet you have two different scopes for two DHCP servers? On the second item, can you confirm what you are…
-
I can see how that can be useful. Do you have an example of one of yours you could send me?
-
The integration would be one way or read only, it would not allow you to push any change back to the DHCP server, you would need to use their native tools to do that.
-
So why is the device loosing contact? Is it rebooting?
-
I would also take a look at this post here for further assistance

We are no longer offering the free version of Syslog. You can download a fully featured 30 day trial for your testing purposes.
-
It should be fixed, can you try again now?
-
It should tell you there is an update available, let me look into this. In the meantime you should be able to go to the customer portal and download the bits.
-
What version are you on that you see this behavior and error? So let's take the node details page for example, with your Admin rights you can edit resource titles or change from top 10 or change node groupings etc. Not having this right they cannot do any of this
-
Superdave, First off, I am always happy to get on a call with customers and chat, so please feel free to let me know if that is something that interests you. Second regarding the roadmap, I got your post on Sat and spent time thinking about this while watching college football. I understand and respect your desire to get a…

This is still not possible and yes we do have this in our system as a feature request for a future rev.
-
No, not from IPAM, you cannot currently do this. This is an item we have on the roadmap for a future release
-
Have you look at using the unmanage utility scheduler app we ship under advanced tools?
-
Can you tell me what version of NPM you are currently running?
