This is still an open request for logging to for the Kiwi web access DB. However, here is what I recommend you do. Deploy Kiwi Syslog and have all firewalls log to it. Create a rule and have an action defined to have all items logged to an external SQL database. Create another action to log all items to the Kiwi web site.…

Same windows as what? You can add a resource to the node details page which display either a UnDP table or a Report. The data displayed in both of these are based on the polling intervals you have setup for that node or interface as UnDP polling intervals are tied to that.
-
Correct you can only do it today for objects like nodes etc. not sub-maps
-
Good feedback, thank you. We will take a look at this.
-
Gotcha I spoke with Dev and this is something we will have to look to further enhance in a future release.
-
Ah ok, gotcha. I was able to reproduce what you are seeing and this appears to be a bug, I will file it in our defect tracking system. However, I was able to get this to work if I defined the node and interface limitations on the user account instead and adding the network wide chart for total bytes transferred to the…

Yep, if you turn it off, you shouldn't see that query anymore
-
Curious, what special characters did you use when you were getting the problem?
-
That is the primary use case, correct. They should be able to create their own filters, but that is it, but I need to confirm that piece.
-
OK I walked through the download process myself and you are right, on kiwisyslog.com the download package is still 9.2.0 for some reason, I will work on getting that fixed. In the meantime the package is correct on solarwinds.com and you can download from this page - http://www.solarwinds.com/downloads/ Let me know if you…

Do you see anything in the events that indicate service restarts? I know you are on a couple other threads about some issues
-
Please see this thread -

We display and report on rogue AP's as reported by the wireless devices themselves

Hard to diagnose without seeing the error. We also ship our evaluations with SQL Express if you want to trial Orion without messing with a formal SQL server. If you want to use an external SQL server, best to open a support ticket to look into
-
That is what I meant, sorry, correct
-
Best bet is to open a support ticket to look into. We have fixed many issues with the SP's and if you are still seeing issues, might be something environmental or another defect.
-
Not ignored, we have it logged and we are listening. We receive a lot of terrific feedback and unfortunantly cannot put it all into the product at once, so we have to prioritize and put in as much as we can each release.
-
Donald, can you send me a private message, I want to setup a web meeting to check this out.
-
What are you interested in seeing in a mobile view?
-
Yep, please see NCM 5.5 release notes here
-
Sorry folks there is some confusion here on our part, my fault. SP1 includes HF2, so no need to re-apply. If you cared about HF1, which is not something which is globally applicable to everyone, then you will need to re-apply that after upgrading to SP1. Sorry for the confusion.

If you want the same DB you can copy over your production DB and rename the DB instance. Then on your VM load 9.5.1 and point it to the copied DB instance and then run the 10.0 upgrade so the DB gets migrated as well. Unless you have another Orion copy for test purposes, you can use the 30 day eval versions.
-
It depends on how you configure SQL, etc. I would just try it, and he see how it performs. If it’s slow, you can either modify the polling intervals or move it later.
-
Awesome, glad it sorted itself out
-
Please open a Support ticket to further diagnose what is going on here
-
Hmm please open a support ticket so we can further investigate what is going on.
-
Good catch, I filed a defect to fix
-
This hasn't been formally tested that I am aware of. Only things I can think of that could cause an issue would be port conflicts on the web server side
-
8.0 is end of support. What OS and DB are you trying to install on? Did you try re-running the config wizard?
-
Then it should be working. We're supposed to be doing an DNS request for that name between every 5-10 minutes. If the polling is more often than that, then there is a chance Orion will poll it before it does the update. We're relying on Windows to get us the right IP.I suggest you open a support ticket and get us…
