If you drill down into an interface in Orion and view the In/Out Errors and Discards graph, by default this is set to a 30 min interval, you can edit the sampling interval by clicking edit resource header of that graph

We have logged it to address, I cannot commit it will be in the next SP. We are focused on fixing any critical customer issues first and foremost

To get interface information from the ESX hosts, we currently leverage SNMP for this. So you will have to setup SNMP on the ESX boxes. On the vCenter server itself, if when you edit it in web node management and add SNMP credentials we can gather that other data you are looking for off the vCenter box as well.

Did you try using the in your NPM 10 setup?

I will respond on here, but I will also ping you offline via email so you have my contact information. We have been digging into this in R&D and our security team to further understand and validate the issues you report. Let me ping the team to get the latest status.

Scott, what scanner are you guys using? We have performed scan with help of Microsoft baseline security analyzer 2.3 and we are not able to see the same results you are.

The release that is in RC right now, no. Per Christine's previous comment: We're working almost exclusively on performance right now, but the global reports are on the road map to be addressed in the next batch of features. We've had this request quite often, and it's very high priority. Once we get the follow on release…

We are working on a permanent fix for this issue that will be released in the form of a hotfix, so that will hold you over, but fix will be coming soon

Have you verified the SA password? Has that changed recently by any chance?
-
What type of graph do you want?
-
It is on our list, we are in the midst of planning for our next release, but nothing I can confirm or deny yet. How urgent or high of a priority is this for you?

So first, please make sure you are on the latest Service Pack for 9.5. So the thin AP's are not SNMP managable, you can only monitor up/down status if you want to add them to Orion via ICMP. We gather all the thin AP stats and client details directly from the controller. You might want to walk these OID's to see what the…

Ah ok, I follow you now. This is the correct current behavior. If you choose single, it combines all output information for each computer in a single output file. Otherwise, Exporter creates a separate file for each individual task in this category.
-
We can for sure look at this but the main reason this works like it does today is you can add a controller to Orion and we monitor the thin AP's and all the connected clients and you only get charged a license to monitor the controller. We don't charge a license for the thin ap's and clients unless you add the thin ap as…

See here for more details on how AD integration works

If you navigate on the Orion server to the directory the account is pointing to, do you see report definitions in there?
-
Regarding the ability to disassociate months/years of data, can you explain that further. Are you desiring to archive off these details or move them from one item to another, for example you upgrade a device to new hardware and don't want to loose those historical stats? Can you elaborate on this item further.

We are adding Cisco Controller and thin AP support in the next release

See here AND

I re-logged it

This is for the new version 9.5, so the app will look different, but the concepts are the same, see here

Within the win32 UI, if I understand what you are saying, I believe the answer is no. Now we have added a web console in a newer version and within here you can build filters, which I believe would scratch the itch. Have you installed the evaluation for the latest version and seen this?
-
We do plan on adding more invoke operations in the future. Let me contact you offline on some additional details.

The defect tracking number for our internal system is #14435

Check out the admin guide here to get you started, there is a section on running on virtualized server
-
It is on the list to do, but not in the next version
-
OK, I checked with the Dev team and this looks like a bug, I will get it filed so we can get it fixed
-
Please post here the ErrorLog.txt (<program files>\Syslogd\Errorlog.txt) If you own Kiwi Syslog please open a support ticket.

This was written back in 2005, so I assume it doesn't work anymore I am not aware of anyone re-writing it, but you can check the content exchange for reports. What data are you looking to get out of the system?

What is your customer requesting from you specficially? Those specific fields/values are not documented.
