We have a beta available for testing for this version. If you are interested in installing and providing us feedback, please DM me via thwack.

Hmmm, I don't believe there is a way to accomplish what you are wanting to do today. I am double checking further and if not I will enter a request into our system to look at adding in the future.

Please see this post here

It sounds like IPSLA Manager might be a good fit for you if you are a Cisco environment for your router. You can then setup probe operations from your central router or from site to site to hit a specific IP using one of many protocols provided. See our online demo here

Are you asking what makes up the percent memory used calculation or why that is the only one that affects node status? If the latter, then that is due to the threshold setting you have defined on the page I mentioned. If I am missing your question, PM me and we can chat back and forth offline and get this answered for you.

irelandt, Please open a support ticket and include the diagnostics to troubleshoot and resolve.
-
Not yet, this is high on our list for a future release. Would AD work for you? As stated in previous post, you could hook that into TACACS
-
Have you checked Cisco bug Db or checked with TAC, we have many customers monitoring tons of interfaces on large switches with no problems
-
Sounds like something is off with SNMP on the servers. Might be worth a support ticket on this one to investigate further
-
I am not sure where single threaded comes into this conversation, searching is not a single threaded operation. I have taken the ability to customize search results fields displayed as an enhancement request for a future release.
-
You can disable automatic login and that popup will go away, but then all users will have to put in their credentials. I do not know of a way to have it both ways.
-
On the roadmap for a future release
-
Why not use the web console. In 10.1 we added a new feature called Message Center which combines Alerts, Traps, Syslog and Events into one view you can filter and search on. We don't have any plans to make the win32 based Syslog and Trap viewer remotable.
-
I would for sure look at upgrading, version 8 is very old and ask other user posted, we have made alot of changes and improvements since then
-
Apologies for the delay here. Our gateway communication is done through a proprietary TCP protocol, which runs on 443. Firewalls with deep packet inspection can have issues because they will not be able to recognize our protocol. The most immediate solution for this is to exclude our domains from inspection: using FQDN if…

Regarding deploying the agent, please check out this article - https://success.solarwindsmsp.com/product-training/?name=Deploy-MSP-Anywhere-with-Group-Policy-and-Active-Directory-Depl… Can you DM me via Thwack to dig into your console logging in issues, I have not personally seen that nor have I heard others encountering…

On the remanage node, we do have an open defect there, workaround is you should be able to remanage the node from the node details page. I will look into the interfaces and see if there is a defect there as well.
-
Are you running NPM 9.5 or 10? Also check the top of the Netflow settings page as well.
-
According to the KB from the MSFT site this only applies to 2003, but you might want to search on the MSFT site more. Also, can you verify by MIB browser or do a wireshark sniff to make sure communication is good to the DC's
-
That is odd. We are monitoring Meru's network with NPM, as they assisted us in the integration. Could you open a support ticket with them on the SNMP side of the Controller?
-
Terrific idea, and something we have been investigating further, but it is easier said than done There are a ton of different variables and items that could change this.
-
The scheduled discovery just finds new items it does not automatically add them if you are not already managing them. So you can schedule it to run at 5am and when you come into the office in the mornings you can see what we found, add them to the ignore list or add them to Orion
-
I have asked someone on our customer service team to reach out to you to assist on this
-
Not in the current version. SAM, our other Server & Application Monitoring product is adding this in the release they are working on. We have this for ipMonitor as an open enhancement request, but no timeline I can offer up. If you had a generic WMI monitor that would allow you to put together your own monitor via a WMI…

OK, so from a Controller stand point specific to the new Wireless functionality with 9.5, we only support Cisco and Aruba at this point in time. So they will not show up on the Wireless page
-
I think that is a bug in the doc, let me confirm and get that changed. You currently cannot schedule discoveries in NPM
-
What else is on there? What is you could add RSS feeds to the Orion web console?
-
All we do is an SNMP Set operation from NPM so not sure why there is still a pending process. Can you make any changes to the device?
-
Got it logged, thanks for the response and feedback
-
We use the IF-MIB to pull interface info including traffic stats. This is pretty industry standard. Can you ask your F5 contacts where they expose this info in SNMP at?
