So you took your production install and cloned it for a lab install? I don't think that is going to work, can you not use an eval install for lab purposes?
-
It all depends on what you want to monitor
-
Why not deliver this page/resource as a report. You can send as HTML or with 10.1 send as PDF
-
Marie is right, open a ticket, but also check your license count to make sure you have licenses
-
The only way to revert back is backup your DB before upgrade and after uninstall/reinstall and point at the saved DB. You cannot upgrade directly from 8 to 10 you need to go through an intermediary upgrade step version wise

Thanks

Advanced Alert Manager is not currently capable of running remotely like Network Atlas is. We added in 10.1 the ability to do some basic management of Advanced Alerts into the web console
-
We drop the installer down as aprt of the NPM install, you could do a couple things, copy .exe to a share and send link only to the people you want to have install or you can turn off the download link by editing the map resource on the web, but before you turn it off, copy the link and send the link to the people you want…
-
We don't have a firm date I can tell you when that will be included/addressed
-
Yes it is a report we ship out of the box
-
Correct, Orion NPM does not currently support 2k8 R2 yet
-
Check out this post here, this should help
-
A quick workaround is to use the Database Manager to edit the Accounts table and delete the admin password. You can't read it here, as it is encrypted, but you can delete it. Then you can login to the website and reset the password.
-
This is an old post, we originally came out with Database Manager when SQL Management Studio was not free. Now it is free, so why not use that instead?
-
My bad, sorry about that -

Another thing to try is using a MIB browser see if you can walk the IF MIB since it sounds like interfaces are not getting populated. If you have our Toolset, you can use that
-
Gotcha, you can only currently extend these hover over pop ups on maps. See here for more info on how to do that. We have an open enhancement to allow you to do that in general to all of them.
-
We put the fix in there so it didn't show up as mobile cause we know users are going to try and use it even though we say it is not support yet :) It is still technically not supported, I am looking into why it is still showing as mobile though.
-
avnishb, The first two items are known issues we have logged into our defect system to address. Have you opened a support case for the other three, so we can get those looked into and logged
-
Yes and Yes, it is completely supported by our support staff as well
-
So what do you not want to poll? The clients and thin AP's? What I described will only hide the feature.
-
Unless we have it out of the box like in Netflow, no you cannot. Specifically what use case are you looking to do so I can make sure we have it documented
-
Gotcha, we don't support as a trap action changing the state of a node. You can do this for an interface today, but not a node.
-
I have the latest packetshaper mibs on hand. Do I submit a ticket for that? If the device shows up as unknown in Orion then this is the forum to post at. If you are trying to use the SNMP Traps or Universal Device Poller functionality and can't find the MIB you want then you can either open a support ticket with the mib…
-
I have these logged. I can't comment on the release dates, sorry. Open a ticket for support if this is a huge blocker for you and they should be able to try and assist you
-
Got all the recent ones since my last post here filed that has posted the requested information
-
We need the names, models and SysOID's of those models please
-
Can you give me the SysOID?
-
Got it logged to the system, thank you sir
-
Interesting one, I logged this
