Are you running a direct OS on the server or some sort of virtualization like VMWare? If just an OS I don't think there is any way for UCS to know what the IP Address is in order to link it up with the server. Can you see the IP Address of the server OS in UCS Manager or no?

If on the Network Summary home page for the All Nodes view, if you click on edit for that view you can change the grouping. Will this get you what you want?
-
Let us know how it turns out
-
No, it did not make the cut for the next version. You should be able to write a custom SQL report though today to pull this information I believe. We allow people to put notes on an alert and those should be logged into the DB
-
So the RC is out, however, we are doing a staged rollout in phases. If you want to get in the next round/wave, send me a private message via thwack with you SWID please.
-
Unfortunantly as I mentioned in my previous post VMWare completely changed their SNMP implementation in version 4 and a lot of the data we used with 3.5 is no longer accessible with VMWare via SNMP. I would suggest opening a case with VMWare as well. We are working on resolving, but no timeline I can commit to yet.

OK, SP3 is now out, might be worthwhile to upgrade to that and see if you issue goes away. If not, I would open a support ticket
-
Got it, I have logged an enhancement request in the system with the details
-
Just go to Start -> Run and type in perfmon and follow the info above.
-
What other vendors? What are the routers at your sites, Cisco?
-
OK, could you please open a support ticket so we can investigate further
-
This is something on our list for sure. In the meantime, not sure if you have seen this or not
-
OK the changes we made were in 10. The RC should be in your portal if you want to upgrade to 10 and do your testing there. Also please feel free to reach out to me or have the Huawei engineer reach out to me as we would like to make sure we have full support for them in our product.
-
Of course, let us know if you have any issues.
-
I would recommend opening a support ticket to assist.

In the label box enter the first line and then hold the shift key and press enter and you should get the next line and enter the second value

Here are the OID's we use to gather this Interface Errors and Discards: OID = ifInDiscards1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.13. OID = ifInErrors 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.14. OID = ifOutDiscards1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.19. OID = ifOutErrors 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.20.

Should be fine
-
I will get an enhancement logged, good idea.
-
No it is not, it is something we are considering for a future revision. I just wanted to check since radius, TACACS, AD etc. are all different method each requiring own implementation, when if AD will suffice all, then even better.
-
Yep so you would need to add those with the syntax above
-
This still operates the same way and is on our list to enhance, but no timeframe yet
-
It is in 10.1, which is currently in Release Candidate stage
-
Drill down to an interface and for that resource in the drop-down select "Edit Chart" and there you can select the time period
-
Thank you, I will check the status of the ticket in our system.
-
I just checked with Dev, look at these two tables * NPM_NV_WL_CLIENTS_HOURLY * NPM_NV_WL_CLIENTS_DAILY
-
#1 - I checked your ticket and it looks like the tech made some changes, however, if the performance is still not acceptable, please re-open the ticket and indicate as such #2 - in the future you can always look at the footer of the web console to get version and SP number #3 - Our long-term UI strategy is to move that…

No 10.1.2 was too far down the road to fix in this release and a larger change. I have this slated for us to consider in the next release.
-
Are ya'll good to go?

Is it too early to talk about possible integration with other product suites (Orion)? Will there be any tie-ins for customers that already use SW products? Too early to talk about at the current point in time. If you need assistance in re-engaging with the sales side of things let me know and I can get someone in contact.…
