Can you export the subnets, change the status/value and re-import into IPAM so you don't have to do 1:1, which by the way we know is a usability issue and have in the system to resolve in a future release

So if you Orion account has edit resources permission, if you go to the top 10 and for the existing top 10 volume utilization for example on the upper right corner of that resource you should see an edit button. Click this and in this new screen at the bottom you will see where you can enter this filter and also example of…

JasonKV, did you sort this out? What error are you getting? Did you try re-running the config wizard?
-
Completely agree and for your environment that workaround sounds like not a good workaround. As I mentioned in my previous post, we are aware of the root issue and are looking to address it.
-
No, only NPM 9.5 support SQL 2008
-
Here is a screenshot from 8.5.1, colors are the same in regards to Receive and Transmit.

Thanks Tom, I shared this with engineering so they could look at the case and the details in there and investigate further.
-
Yes, they should as long as they support the bridge mib. Couple troubleshooting steps 1. if you have toolset or can download an eval copy run the switch port mapper tool, do results come back? Also remember ConnectNow only supports direct connections as well.
-
I think we would need to dig into this issue further, could you please open a support ticket either online or via phone please?
-
Have you tried adding one to NPM? If so, what happens?
-
We the latest release we fixed some Chrome issues, so it should work decently well while not formally supported yet. We are looking at adding formal support in the next rev.
-
Ah ok, I get the root of your question now, sorry I missed it in my original response. So IPAM IP's do not have an equal weight to elements in NPM. NPM is pulling alot more data on the node and interfaces etc., whereas IPAM is typically at a longer frequency and the amount of data is much less. So for IPAM, as long as your…

On item # 1 do you mean the controllers or the thin AP's? I have the second item logged as an enhancement request. The method you have posted is the only way around this right now, which is to add them as ICMP nodes

I would like to pry into this a little more. What is your reasoning for wanting to integrate Orion Wireless Module with WCS? Do you just not want two systems hitting the wireless devices?
-
Yes, an Yann indicated, this is a known issue with 9.5 we are looking into
-
By what behavior you are describing, it sounds like SNMP is either not enabled on the AP's or there is something else blocking SNMP through to the AP's like an ACL. When you try to add the AP and add the community string and click verify, what happens? What error do you get back? Do you have a MIB browser on the Orion…

No ETA I can provide right now at this point, but I will add you to the request

We are addressing some of the issues with Huawei in the release we are working on, I need someone who can help us confirm the fixes and participate in our beta. If you can, please send me a PM via thwack
-
Also since this original post we recently acquired TriGeo which does in depth log and event analysis and management, you can read more here on that.
-
We are aware of this issue and are working on options for workaround and fix. Stay tuned for more information.
-
Are you running IE as Admin? Dang UAC can sometime cause issues. Also, does your account in Orion have the Browser integration set to true?
-
I cannot guarentee this will work, but might be worth a shot. You *might* be able to use the Web Configuration Backup utility as it does handle views and resources.
-
Not sure if you have seen this, but on main network summary home page for the All Nodes resource you can click Edit and select up to three levels of node grouping.
-
I did a Google search on the error code and Windows 2008 and this is what I got bac http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2028504 Looks like an OS problem and nothing to do with Orion
-
Is this one of the out of the box reports and if so, what is the exact one? Might be quicker and easier to open a support ticket to resolve.
-
Community, please chime in. See some other threads on this topic here and here
-
Seems like they may be related, do you have a support case open?
-
OK, also are you running jsut Orion NPM or do you own any modules?
-
Any chance you can evaluate on another server?
-
Gotcha. Currently, NPM is the base product and APM, IPAM, IPSLA Manager and NTA are modules on top of NPM. So as you said NPM is required to run them. NCM can run as a standalone product with it's own server, but has a Orion Web Console plugin to where NCM can appear in the general Orion web portal. It also has a stand…
