Thanks for the good and honest feedback Jaroslow, I will log these items for us to enhance in a future release. Please keep the feedback coming

So is there an OID that gives this information? Can you check if an upgrade of the OS supports the MIB's?

-
At this point I would open a support ticket so they can get you fixed up
-
Ah ok, best to open a support ticket then to investigate please
-
Not, this is still an open feature request
-
Best path at this point is a support ticket, please reference this thread
-
Under Volumes are you monitoring the memory values?
-
Another idea to throw out there. You can create a new report for events that filters and only shows you events of those types you care about. You can then add a resource to whatever web page you care about this showing on and have it appear as a web resource.
-
You may want to reach out to support. We did do a hotfix for some polling issues, which may or may not resolve what you are seeing. If it does awesome. If it doesn't we need to get info from you so we can diagnose
-
He is right in his post about what this means.
-
Check out this KB article here
-
No, no way to remove it that I am aware of. As Roger indicated in his response on why it is needed. Is there something specific they are concerned about? Did something get flagged?

If you go into web node management, select one or more interfaces and click on edit properties, there is a checkbox to set the interfaces as unpluggable. What will happen here is if the node goes down, we won't set it to down, but instead unpluggable. We typically meant this to be used for end user ports.

btw, it was disappointing when i did the online quote for Storage Profiler and it came back $300,000. eek PASS!!! I am going to ping you offline, I am curious to see why this came out at this price.
-
Yes, however, in the meantime you can actually download and evaluate the software now by going to tek-tools.com
-
We ship with just the couple out of the box as you have seen. Also, you can log into the customer portal and go under additional components for NPM and in that list there are some additional background you can download there. Also you can pull images from the web that you can legally use and import them in to use as…

Dave, do you still have my email addr? If yes, ping me offline so I can see what is going on.
-
OK, if you have not already, I would open a ticket with support so they can help you figure out what is causing the problem
-
Obviously since I work here I am biased, so I will let the community guide you on upgrades. Regarding 10.1 though, 10.1.1 was a service release with some installer and other general fixes. Hotfix 1 gives customers a choice on the format of the alert email, which we are planning on incorporating into the next release. The…

We are looking at enhancing this going forward. However, I would also recommend to check out a new company we just acquired called Tek-Tools. They do storage resource management, including fiber channel switches along with other functionality.
-
So noted, will make sure this gets logged appropriately
-
Dave is right if you have active maintenance then you will get v10. Check your customer portal in the morning, we are doing customer provisioning this evening of 10.
-
We used Least SquaresMore formally called Gaussian polynomial calculation for data point interpolation
-
Looks like you have setup SSL or HTTPS. If you did, make sure you certificate matches the Orion server hostname
-
So would your expectation be that this occurs in near real-time based or would a scheduled job which delivered a report be sufficient. For example, job runs nightly and when you come in and check email in the morning there is a report of adds and deletes?
-
That is something we will have to consider for a future release. Most users who are using AD, their users are logging into Windows for example and use the native facilities there to change their passwords. Also you can set the password in AD to never expires and create one for them and send to them, just a thought.

Which directions. If you want to see what version you are running, look at the footer of the web console
-
For sure the stack track you posted, but also on the Orion server if you go to Start -> Program Files -> Solarwinds Orion -> Documentation and Support -> Orion Diagnostics and run that utility and upload the produced file
-
Yep, should do that for ya
