So if the web interface was quicker, what other objections or issues would you have in using the web interface instead of the client?
-
Also here is a workaround, which to be clear, is separate from the buddy drop which you could look to leverage also. * As a workaround, to unblock using WinSCP, set the Maximum supported SFTP version with 4 or 3 (Domain->Limits & Settings->tab Limits->limit type Advanced)

This is a known defect we have filed in the system TT#13139 for those internal
-
Have you seen this report?
-
Hmm odd, did you get any errors on the upgrade? So the footer of the web console still shows SP2?
-
I will send you both the links directly. For the rest of you, please feel free to DM or contact me directly, along with your SWID and I can provide to you as well.
-
On top of Martin's comment, even though not as elegant as it could be, you should be able to get this data out as we store an audit trail using report writer
-
4 is for sure not going to work well, VMWare changed things up on what is available via SNMP, this is something we are working on. There is another thwack thread on this I can send you.
-
Sorry Netflow Module, do ya'll own that?
-
What version of NPM and VMWare? ESX or ESXi?
-
So here is the up to date list of valid variables, see here We do have a defect in the system when you click submit it does not take you back properly, however, if you go back to network summary home and hover over an item on the map, is it showing properly?
-
Do you have SNMP enabled on the servers properly? Are we getting anything back like CPU/Memory? We have a free tool to assist in setting up SNMP on Windows machines if you want to use.
-
I will log this as an enhancement request in the system

Two options, both exist in the web node management page 1. Click on the + sign next to the node in question and you will see the interfaces currently being managed in Orion. Select the interfaces you want to delete and click delete in the menu bar 2. On the top of this page, in the drop down next the word show, select…

Yes you can monitor two different stations with identical IP Address, but they need to be on different Orion pollers. When you add the device into Orion and specify the SNMP information are you changing the port to 3664?
-
Yes, please do if you have not already
-
OK, good info, I will dig into. I looked at the defect and the data we had was it was focused around v1 only and v2 worked, which appears not to be the case based on your post.
-
So on the web console under Admin -> Web Console setting, what is the rollup mode set to?
-
Could be a couple things here. First on this item - C2960-LANBASEK9-M12.2(50)SE Any chance you can go up to the SE3 release of code? I am not sure if this also applied to the 2960, but we have a block against 12.2(50)SE code train as in our initial testings with Cisco we found a bug in the IOS which Cisco addressed in SE1…
-
Odd, I don't. I just emailed it to your gmail address directly.
-
Your call there on deleting and re-adding. Any idea on why they are showing as unknown?
-
Also have you seen my blog posts on groups and dependencies?
-
You are correct, the thin ap's do not support SNMP. If you add the controller to Orion, it will pick up the thin ap's automatically. If you need assistance or guidance on the product, please let your sales rep know and they can set you up with an SE to walk through the product.
-
Until we release the fix, only workaround is to manually update them
-
SP2 is the current service pack that has been released, so this is still an open issue
-
Try changing to worst
-
We don't support Windows 2008 R2 yet, just Windows 2008, so that could be a big part of the problem too
-
No, not at this point in time, you cannot do that.
-
Good feedback, I will add that as an enhancement request to the system
-
As I indicated above, you will need to contact support to get the correct links. As long as you are under active maintenance, this should not be a problem
