As a formal build in feature of IPAM using the alerting framework, not currently, we have that as an open enhancement request. However, do you own APM? If so, there is a workaround you could possibly use.
-
Check out here starting with page 334
-
I also highly recommend you open a case with Cisco TAC. I am not saying it is their issue, but we have many other customers monitoring AP's with no issues, so I am suspicious there is something up with the code rev you are running on the AP's.
-
StealthNet, see my blog post here, we are working on it now
-
Do you have the default Web Access logging rule is use.
-
Try again, I had the wrong link in there, sorry about that.
-
You are correct on my second post, you can only do the via RDP'ing into the box. Some wildcards via the web console should work though
-
Did you try what lchance recommended in the thread?
-
OK I get what you are saying now, thank you for the further explanation. Regarding the map loading error, are you on SP4? If so, can you please open a support ticket and reference this thread.
-
Later this week or early next.
-
I just pinged you offline via email to dig into the issue you reference a bit further.
-
This is correct, see this post here
-
Are you trying to configure a basic or advanced alert?
-
Got ya and I am not suggesting that we won't do it, but NPM & SAM currently both support IPv6 if you are looking for another solution in our portfolio. May be overkill or out of budget for needs, but just an FYI.
-
Are you storing alot of Syslog and Traps? That will cause your DB to grow fast. Also how many flows per second are you sending? This doc might be a good read as well here
-
From a PM stand point, as ya'll have said, this is hokey and I have this up there on my usability issues list based on feedback from ya'll.
-
Let me send you a PM offline to discuss further.
-
Please apply SP2 to fix this issue, see here
-
We have a 10.1.1 Release Candidate which addresses some things and we are actively working with folks to investigate and address these type of performance issues. If you have not opened a support case, please do so we can gather data and investigate.
-
Feedback noted and logged into the system
-
At what point do you think you pivot over to LEM? Since Kiwi is SNMP, Syslog and Windows Event only, that only partially covers you for HIPPA
-
Are you sure, this should be addressed with SP1. What behavior are you seeing?
-
Best bet will be then to open a support ticket to look into
-
Understood that is was not ideal, was just trying to be creative with existing functionality you have today in the product. The template or policy is already an idea/enhancement I have in the system, I will append ya'll to this request. Another idea just thinking more is since you can duplicate a subnet within the system…
-
Are you running the latest SP?
-
It would be valuable for those of you who have upgraded to SP4, please see this thread and provide us your feedback
-
You will need to go into the port configuration and enable there EnergyWise today is more about PoE port level power usage, less at the chassis level
