This would be why, this is only available in a newer version for web access. Per Mike's post you should still be able to log to a file
-
Gotcha, I will log an enhancement for this. Right now we are displaying what we get from the IF-MIB
-
For those who care, the issue was a dash “ – “ is a reserved character in your file naming scheme. I changed Dell-R900.gif to Dell_R900.gif and they now appear.
-
No, this is not in v10, this is still something on the list we want to add to the product
-
Did you try removing the resource and re-adding? My install is not showing the same behavior you are describing
-
It is still on our list, but not planned for the next release.
-
Hmm, hard to tell from thread, best bet is to open support ticket to investigate what the issue is
-
DB Maintenance is schedule to run nightly, typically at 2am by default.
-
Perfect, Support can work with you on all issues and gather the needed information, address any issues they can and file appropriate defects
-
Orion audit trails is still an open enhancement request and does not exist in NPM today.
-
brian, I am looking into your case and going to contact you offline to discuss this further
-
You didn't get the memo? :) Thanks all for the responses, just wanted to confirm some things for the defect
-
If you do an SNMP-Walk of the IF-MIB are those interface showing up?
-
I just sent a private email to both of you
-
You should be able to register an app handler for it based on the browser. Instructions for IE: msdn.microsoft.com/.../aa767914(VS.85).aspx Instructions for Firefox: kb.mozillazine.org/Register_protocol
-
Stacy, thanks for the response, this is good information. As always the more detail you can provide the better
-
Hopefully you have seen this blog post on what we are working on here in regards to VMWare
-
We made some changes with 9.5 and the SP's, so hopefully this should be alot better
-
The defect # is 14921
-
Correct, we are just displaying what the controller gives us, we are not doing any special rogue detection on our side
-
I guess I am confused? We shipped out of the box with 9.5 an alert which lets you know when a thin AP goes down? Does that not work?
-
For 12.7.1, yes there will be a GA in roughly about a month depending on how the RC feedback and adoption goes.
-
No ETA at this point in time, the current development cycle was too far down the road to fix this one, but under consideration for the following release.
-
All solid feedback and much of it I have heard before and is on my list. Reports and Maps are high up on my list. What is higher for me is a refresh of module support. Right now we don't support IPAM, UDT, the new Virtualization or Group stuff we added in 10.1, so I want to get those gaps filled. This is not all we are…
-
Just checking back, did you contact support and get this resolved
-
rmarshall, can you private message me via thwack offline please I may have a workaround for you
-
It has been noted as a feature request for sure
-
Can you please open a support ticket so we can investigate.
-
Now with my last post being said, we do have items we wish to do which would enable this type of use case.
-
I just tested this on my 9.1 SP3 install and this appears to be working. My port was not named, so it was showing in Orion with the generic name (port 4/1.....). I went ahead and named that port on the switch to test and after next poll the name test was picked up as the port name.
