Good feedback guys and we recognize we for sure have some room for improvement :) One cool thing coming in the next version of Kiwi Syslog is pass thru authentication into the Kiwi Web Console. So you can then add that as an external website with the pass-thru setup and users won't have to authenticate into Kiwi. Also next…

Mynanta, understood and we have that logged as an enhancement. However, just so you know, toolset right click integration is available within IPAM

I haven't looked into it either further, I talked with Eric offline on this to see if there was a common error he was getting or if it was random and he said random if I remember correct, so hard to pin down exactly what is going in his scenario

I have worked with a couple other customers on this and one item which may help or may not for you if on the maps you can right click on the map in Atlas and select map properties and in there you can set the view limitation rights. By default this is turned off, if you turn it on and someone changes the viewID in the…

Ah that would be why. This was a new feature in NPM 10.1 which we just released recently. If you upgrade to 10.1 you will see this new option there.

Please open support tickets as neccesary
-
If you haven't heard from Support yet, re-running SP3 would not be a bad idea. Afterwards, you will get the configuration wizard again.
-
Best bet is to just open a support ticket for further investigation
-
Awesome, good to hear. We will make sure this gets addressed in IE as soon as possible.
-
Please open a support case to work through your issues

If you open the Syslog Viewer Win32 UI on the Orion server and create a new rule, when creating that new rule select the action "Forward Syslog" and you will see the below dialog where you can say to retain the original source IP as well as other settings including spoofing.

I am checking into this further and will post again, but the only issue off the top of my head, which is in the NCM release notes is Windows 2008 Known Issue with Scheduled Jobs By default, Windows 2008 sets scheduled tasks to run only when the user context it is set to run under is logged on and requires Windows…

It is already in the system and will be considered for a future release
-
You can probably get some info via UnDP, but also check out this product, which we recently acquired which has storage management
-
All we have a buddy drop we can apply which we believe should address this issue. PM me via thwack if you want to get this dropped on to your install to help us further validate. We already have this in multiple customer environments and so far so good.

Did you mention is SQL on the same box as Orion or a different box? If the answer is different box, I think at this point many of the usual suspects which could cause this we have looked at and it might be time to open a support ticket. Also, for future reference here is our baseline specs for average customers we…

Could you both please open support tickets
-
An idea we will take into consideration
-
You can read more about this here
-
This is something we are looking at, however, recently we have been focused on adding more coverage as UnDP can be used as a stop gap. We added Meru Controller support in NPM 10.1
-
Best bet might be just to open a support case
-
You say SP5, are you also running the hotfix on top of that?
-
We have seen some issues, but not everyone is seeing them also. For those at are, we are getting the appropriate diagnostics so we can see what is going on and file the appropriate defects to get fixed.
-
There is a menu bar option called "Reset Password" you can add which should allow your end users to change their own passwords. Admin -> Customize Menu Bars and add to the appropriate one
-
You can PM me via thwack and we can chat offline
-
SLXer, yes we did chat offline. I will work on putting together a feature list of item we have, but as I said above, I cannot put timelines on when we will get to them and the priority can and probably will change over time. Now with this being said, I am always happy to get on the phone with any customer and talk about…

Can you do a general MIB walk of the device and see what you get back or ask the vendor/look at the docs to see what MIB's they have?
-
I recommend you use English OS
-
Still open enhancement request.

Windows 2008 is supported with 9.5. Windows 2008 R2 support is coming with 10.0 which is currently in RC
