We are starting work on Viptela support for cloud orchestrator with development. Would any of you be willing to partner with us on this if needed, for example, would love a list of models and OS versions you use today.

WMI Monitor post questions or issues here - http://thwack.solarwinds.com/community/free-tools_tht/wmi-monitor On this tool, did you make sure to include hidden files and folders in the search?
-
Yes at a high level
-
The print to pdf option outlined in the comments is the current workaround for now, so will leave this enhancement open, but since there is a workaround, it has been lower priority.
-
No initial ideas, but I will share this with the engineering teams internally as well.
-
Soon, working on estimates and planning with dev as I type on this and plan to have something soon. Anything specifically you are interested in?
-
SWSD was written from the ground up with cloud in mind, so using cloud native services and infrastructure and to retrofit to also support on-prem would be a large endeavor.
-
We typically only have release notes at GA. If there is a specific question or case # you have a question about, please let me know and I can check and get you info.

The EOC product is a roll-up dashboard of multiple Orion's. Currently to view additional details or perform administrative actions you would have to drill down into the specific Orion server. When you drill through it will auto log you on if you want so you don't have to log in twice.

We are getting very close, the RC has shaken out a few bugs we have been getting addressed and just making sure we catch as many as we can in the RC period. RC is production fully supported, so if you want in the RC just let Peter know and you can upgrade your production environment as well.
-
Good feedback and makes sense. I may look into doing something directly in the Web Help Desk section of thwack.
-
I promise we are getting there as quickly as possible. Peter just wrote a post discussing Beta and RC is very close behind it. Feature development is completed and we are in a full QA regression cycle on the product and fixing any bugs that arise from that. We also want to get the release out to you folks as quickly as…

Serv-U Product Manager here. There are multiple feature requests within this single item and some of them have been addressed, while there are still other items open, so I cannot mark this as implemented fully yet. What has been implemented so far is the following: * Authentication is done in a more generic manner so it’s…

Just an update on things folks, we just released a Service Release last week and are currently in planning mode for the next version. Be sure to vote in the ideas section for things you need and want and when we have a plan locked down, I will update this thread with the items we will be working on.
-
The first item is for sure on my list of items for consideration for the next sets of releases. Let me get with the PM of Orion and get the latest on their strategy there with Syslog, SNMP Traps, etc.
-
We have a beta that is soon to be happening in SAM, which you can see some of the items that may be in there here. Please ping me or James Barnes if you are interested and available to participate and give us input and feedback.

You can find the 12.2 GA Release Notes here.

I have ideas, but same as I asked to Dobbs, what would you like to see?
-
csastephen we currently support 2012 R2 - there was an bug in the documentation we need to fix that says 2012 RC2, when it was supposed to be R2. Sorry for the confusion.

Great question. The default best practice recommendation is yes. Below are the reasons why. Scenario in which this might work would assume the following two conditions were accounted for: * Register this connection in DNS must be removed / unchecked on the public (this is a pre-requisite but must be made known) * NetBIOS…
-
Yes within the alert definition itself you can specify how long the condition must exist before triggering the alert.
-
There are no planned enhancements on the roadmap for our existing wireless mapping support, so what is there now is what we support today.
-
Have you looked here - Flow sources management (solarwinds.com)
-
As discussed offline via email, since this is to use the free tool in which to monitor your corporate/company environment, that is absolutely ok and acceptable and how we expect free tools to be leveraged.
-
You could deploy an instance of the product for each of the closed networks and if needed, roll them up together into EOC
-
Is that same level of data exposed via SNMP anywhere? You could create a UnDP if so.
-
Not today that I am aware of
-
How are the logs getting from the app server to the centralized location? Are those being copied over or sent via another means?
-
How is the alert itself configured, specifically the content of the email body. You can insert variables within the email content to give you more details and context.
-
I would recommend a support ticket here, hard to tell issue without more details and info
