Not sure where you got Q3/Q4 2010 date. We are in the planning phase of the next release and this item is logged into the system. I can't say right now if that will get in or not.
-
Yep should work just fine in 10.0, have you tried adding one yet?
-
Yep, aware of that. Still working with Cisco on Nexus items, as I have more info to share I will post
-
Just to repeat regarding wireless support. So for thick/autonomous AP's as long as the AP's support the 802.11 MIB they should work. The only area in which we currently only support Aruba and Cisco are for controllers and yes we are looking to expand that coverage going forward.
-
On the first item, correct, we do gather the thin ap information directly from the controller, that is why they are not traditional node in our system. On the other items, good feedback, something we will look at for the future adding in
-
We have a hotfix which we are working on releasing ASAP which will allow you to choose which format to send all alerts emails in, text or HTML.
-
Scott, once you did the reboot did the configuration wizard start automatically or did you have to start it? If during installation is locked a file (e.g. a service) so the Windows Installer set up a reboot and the ConfigWizard is not started. After reboot there should be ConfigWizard started automatically. If this did not…

Major and Minor release or left of dot and right of dot are pretty straight forward. If you see something like 10.1.1 that is a service release. If it is a service pack it should say SP1 or whatever the SP is. So if we did an SP and not a service release it would say 10.1 SP1 as an example. SLX and ALX are your license…

Regarding time frame, nothing I can commit to at this point in time
-
This is a long thread, so specifically what questions are you asking regarding?
-
Don't be sad, I am always paying attention :) Check this doc out we put together and see if it helps.
-
OK cool, that works as a workaround, I will get that defect re-opened
-
Hmm, ok I will re-open that defect, can you try this workaround In address bar change: NetObject=Z:??? to NetObject=AA:???
-
I recommend rolling back the hotfix then to restore your maps to working order until we release the SP
-
Hey Jim, nothing I can openly commit to at this point in time.
-
No worries, that is what the forum is here for!
-
So let's dig into this more. Per the earlier post, yes you can do pattern matching with Syslog in v10 and then trigger off of that. What limitations are you hitting in the UnDP?
-
Sales team or Support? Reach back out to them to get you set back up
-
We for sure hear you. We are currently working on the performance improvements that should cut down the I/O operations a bit.
-
submariner, I am reaching out to you offline to discuss this further and get some more data
-
In process, see this post for more info here. No ETA I can provide, but let us know if you want to be in the beta and RC program.
-
Fair enough and point taken, I will file a defect against that
-
On the machine you are accessing the web from I believe.
-
I will follow up with Dev on this. Can you open a support case and upload diagnostics in the meantime?
-
No, there is no option today to enable this by default
-
The issue still appears to be open, however, I would recommend installing SP5 and trying it out.
-
It would be from where the Orion server polls. Depending on where the Orion server is in your network and where it is connected to etc. you would go out from there.
-
Not via SNMP trap, we do have request to be able to do this without the GUI and via an API/SDK and this is something we are looking to add in a future release
-
I think this use case is going to be tough to accomplish because the relevant data is spread across multiple tables and require joins across those tables, which at this time the UnDP does not support.
-
Eric, please re-open a support ticket so we can dig into this further
